The campus is beautiful, there are many majors, and there are a lot of activities that you can get involved in. There are over 150 clubs on campus, and there are concerts about every week. Sport events are also very big.
Probably the extracurricular activities. Academics has always been interesting to me, but the activities and organizations available to students outside the classroom are always the most fun. Being involved in extracurricular organizations and activities have, in turn, made me more interested in my classes as well as exposed me to intellectual people that I wouldn't have met otherwise. These organizations and activities give the students a reason to spend many hours on campus and get involved with the university, keeping it from being just another commuter school.
I brag most about the amount of fun I have inside and outside the classroom. I absolutely love what I'm studying, so I find classes to be entertaining. Outside the classroom, I'm very involved (intramural sports, sorority, and student-leadership positions), so I always have something fun to do.
I brag about how huge unrs campus is and how you can do. I talk to them about UNR's knowledge center which is a library but with computers and macs filling up the building.
I enjoy the selection of classes. There are several choices that are always interesting. Also I love all the available student activities. From the bonfires, to the movie nights. There is always something to do at school. There is such a strong student spirit while on campus.
That even as a non-traditional student, I was still able to receive two internships (one locally and one in Ghana) through the university.
The professors are great and really focus on students needs.
education program is awesome
The College of Education is fantastic. The library has some of the best computers I've seen, and the staff is eager and willing to help. The professors are nice and encourage a lot of interraction in their lectures. I've made a lot of great friends, most of whom I can see myself still being friends with in twenty or thirty years.
Greek life becaue that i what I am involved in here and also our brand new facilities. We just got a new state of the art library that we are so lucky to have.
My campu is very large and has just recently has soem new additions. There is a beautiful new library with state of the art computers. The study areas have comfortable couches and fireplaces. We also have several restaurants and a starbucks.
tuition price is reasonable and the city itself if not too big and not too small. great weather with snow, a lot of things to do in the area
The thing I brag about most is this school's ability for field placement within the community for internszhips and practicum sites.
That we are a very spirited school and very college oriented. We also have the best clubs and organizations that really get the students involved on campus.
That we have the cannon and Las Vegas doesn't!
My friends and who's school is better in sports.
THIS IS NEVADA'S BEST KEPT SECRET! I usually brag about how in my Journalism courses, it's not just professors, but men and women who have had hands-on experience working in the field they are now teaching in. You don't just feel like it's a teacher preaching to you, they actually know what they are talking about and have gone through what we are going through. I brag about how my last two TV Production teachers have been news anchors for years here in Reno and other cities around the nation.
The amount of technology (computers, multimedia equipment, etc.) available to students.
Our school spirit
I BRAG ABOUT THE CLASSES THAT ARE OFFERED WITHIN MY MAJOR. I LOVE THE PROJECTS THAT I GET TO DO, AND THE FREEDOM THAT I HAVE WITH MY CREATIVITY AND EXPRESSION.
the nursing program
We have the best student union and library. And school spirit is crazy.
I brag about the campus and how beautiful it is. I also brag about the teachers, how they help me, and the jobs i was able to find.
The campus life, the football team, and the great outdoors activities so close by.
