The worst thing about my school are the extravagant costs of the textbooks sold in the bookstore.

There have been a lot of state budget cuts that are making the students a little uneasy.

If I had to mention what is the worse thing at my school, I guess I would have to say it is the maintenance of the school. Actually, the school is doing its very best in trying to expand the buildings and to maintain the grounds . Every year, the university has had to deal with financial cutbacks, so money for mainenance seems to be getting more scarce. Higher education cutbacks in this state have affected many colleges. One thing the University of New Orleans seems to want to keep is the quality of education we will receive.

They seem more concerned with getting people enrolled than properly advising them.

If i had to try to find something wrong with UNO, I would say that there is not a great about of Financial Aid available, and the people who work in the various offices, including Financial Aid, are very difficult to get in touch with and work with.

Because the school must compete with the city of New Orleans, there are not very many on campus activities during the weekends or holidays.

The class times. Not enough of them offered at different times.

The crime level in New Orleans, and lack of on-campus activity.

The worst thing about my school is the possibility for bad weather, such as hurricanes. When something like this threatens the area it can really put a burden on your school work, such as knowing whether or not school will be open.

THE WORSE THING I WOULD SAY IS NOT ENOUGH SEATING IN THE DINING AREA. THERE ARE A LOT OF STUDENTS THAT ARE DINING DURING AND IN BETWEEN CLASSES AND IT IS REALLY HARD TO FIND A SEAT SOMETIMES.
