I think it is a good school. There are many opportunities to learn and grow as a person. There are many events that happen throughout the week and it is easy to meet people. The professors are generally good and are available for meeting either in person or online.

The University of North Alabama has been great so far. I have only been here for a semester, and will be leaving before the spring semester begins, but everyone has been so welcoming and helpful! Teachers are quite accessible and really push you to succeed.

Terronica - 05/10/2022

Very good school ike any school, this was our first year back since COVID and you can tell this school really tried to make an effort in bringing our North Alabama community together. I attend this school and love their teachers. They always attend the events that are held. I loved the real lion mascot and creative ways to get students to do something outside their school. I really enjoyed all the projects they held even though we couldn't be on campus. This school really cares about their families and wanted the best for these children's education.

Christian - 10/11/2021

I was recruited to come to this school to play football and will be graduating in December. Simply put, do not attend this school. It is the oldest institution in the state of Alabama yet has the least government funding by a WIDE margin and it clearly shows when you walk around campus. Classrooms look less well-kept than high school classes, the parking lots are hilariously small, and all there is to do around Florence is talk about how there is nothing to do in Florence. The wifi consistently goes down for long periods of time across the entire campus, and I truly feel bad for anyone who has to live in the prison cells commonly known as Rice and Rivers Hall.

  3. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

University of North Alabama is a small school, where we have small classes and all porfessors and staffs are so nice and willing to help individual when they needed help but the worst thing about it is it has small number of parking places. As a feshman, students are not allowed to park on campus, they have to park couple miles away and take a bus to school. Sometimes, we have to drive around for 15 minutes find a parking place and sometimes we ended up by late for class. I hope school will ix that problem soon.

This school has a very beautiful campus and is large but not too large to where you can walk to pretty much all the buildings. Everyone I have encountered in every department like financial aid, admissions, etc is very friendly and helpful. My advisor is very helpful and seems to care about my future. I've seen this with my other teachers too.
