No matter what the size of your class is, professors are approachable and willing to help you if you try. Building relationships with a few in your major is critical if you want to go further in your studies for ex: writing an honors thesis.

Professors can be hit or miss. Most are enthusiastic, have impressive accomplishments in their field and foster interest in subject matter through well-designed lessons and a variety of activities. These professors tend to be easily accessible and will meet you for office hours or for lunch. Other professors are have trouble imparting their knowledge due to uninspiring lectures or a lack of availability. Professors may be young or old, but even the younger professors tend to have experience working in their fields. Many professors expect a lot from students, while others seem content running "easy A" courses.
