What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Amanda

The most frusturating thing at UNCG is class availability. When applying for classes my furst semester I did not get the class I needed, so i will now not graduate in 4 years if i continuned in the nursing program.

Nancy

The parking availability. If you didn't purchase a parking permit, you had to park in the street. At certain times of the day, it could be very dangerous for female students.

Jennifer

Not enough parking! Also registration is a pain. There aren't enough options as far as class times.

Pangdee

The most frustrating thing about my school is when some of the courses are only available for a certain time in the semester, and taking labs that are counted for only one credits.

Eric

The most frustrating thing about my school is the lack of parking.

Mary

The most frustrating thing, which occurs at all colleges and universities, has to be the cost of books. Tuition is not too extreme, but the books as required for some courses are often hard to purchase if you are not receiving financial aid.

BreAnna

The most frustrating thing about UNCG would be the teacher to student ratio in the early years of attending the school. Although the frequency of attending huge classes may vary depending on one's major, all students are exposed to one teacher, with maybe a teaching assistant in a class size of 200+. This makes it very hard for students to really engage in the class topics. This size also limits the relationship between the teacher and the student, for the teacher can not form a connection with all 200+ students.

Brittany

The most frustrating thing I found about being a student at UNCG was the social atmosphere. I felt like the number of students who were there just to pledge or party far outweighed the number of students that were at UNCG who were there to get an education. This was a major factor in my ethnic group. Also, our chancellor was kind of off putting but she passed away recently and we have a new chancellor so that's not a factor anymore.

Lindsey

I feel students lend their worth and success to what their peers think and do. Being an adult student on campus I recognize these things quite clearly. I can definitely related to the social pressures, I was in that place years ago when I first started college. I feel that many students (of tradtional age) haven't quite realized who they are as individuals.

Sarah

Too many people.

Troy

The most frustrating thing I would have to say is that some teachers just will not use blackboard. Blackboard allows students to keep up with their grades and assigments in an orderly fashiion. I feel like the school should require all teachers to use it. IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL TO SOME OF US!!

Alaina

The most frustrating thing about my school is the old sometimes unclean on-campus dorms.

Ashley

Many students get frustrated with the limited amount of parking on campus. UNCG is working to correct this by expanding parking and even locating parking through the greensboro coliseum.

Amanda

Parking.

Micah

Lack of school pride and involvement on campus.

Chelsea

It is a liberal campus.

Laura

The dining hall food sucks.

Alana

Distance of buildings. Teachers office hours.

Michelle

I think that the most frustating thing about my school is the differences in staff. All the professors teach differently and expect different things from their students.

Alexander

UNCG's students and professors are very liberal, and the professors tend to teach with a liberal political mindset.

Brittany

overcrowding in clasrooms sometimes

Jazmine

All the things I want to do but can't! They offer so much and I want to do so much, but I can't. I can only choose a few things to do a semester.

Kerri

The parking passes are extremely expensive and half the time you cant even find a place to park.
