What is the stereotype of students at your school?

That we are a party school.

Some stereotypes would be that UND is too small and that the education is horrible. I think people think that UND students are probably all the same, with not too much diversity.

UND students are typically considered to be loud and unfriendly. People think we don't care about our community and don't do anything for the community around us. There is a stereotype that we drink too much and don't get good grades.

I think one of the most prevalent stereotypes about UND students is that they are heavy drinkers. Some other ones include cliquish and conservative.

That we are hostile and abusive because of our Sioux logo. Also many people label our institution as "stupid" because we are a public school.

I think people think that we drink too much, are pretty hick-like, and care way too much about our hockey.

Students are conservative, it's really cold. It's boring and there is nothing to do but drink. Trucks roll easily, cops are vicious and people are always complaining about getting their car ticketed for parking.
