The University of North Texas caters to a lot of different kinds of students. The school is obviously a fine arts school, but there are activites for everyone around campus. The school is a very social school, and a person who likes to meet people would have enjoy being at UNT.

I'd say it's a good school for people who are more liberal. It's also a good school for people interested in or want to major in art or music. Unless you are really, really interested in that kind of art/music atmosphere, or have that UNT spirit, then you should probably go somewhere else if you're not planning on pursuing art or music.

Everyone! It's great! UNT has the resources of a large school with the personal feel of a small college. Just about everyone can find what they're looking for here. Everyone can choose for themselves if they want to be the social butterfly and go to all the games and pep rallies and have a thousand friends, or to be anonymous and only go to class and events that are of interest to that individual. UNT is a place for anyone. Whatever you are looking for: academics, fun, friends. Denton is the place. It is a big school in a small town with charm and the most friendly people I have ever met. Denton is a college town, so the city is very student-friendly. I am from north Texas and never planned on coming to UNT, but this is the first place that has ever felt like home to me. I couldn't imagine going to college and being more happier anywhere else.

A very open and work driven person should be the one to consider coming here. I can speak strongly for the music program and the studio I am a member of. We work harder than I could have immagined. The people here help others to be sucessful in thier field and all learn to be better teachers by helping others every day.

Someone who lives in the DFW area and communtes to Denton who has other places to go for their night life and entertainment. Students who are serious about music and art should come to UNT. Students who like diversity or want to experience diversity should come to UNT. Also students who are not entirely sure of what they want to do with life or want something a bit less challenging. Students who are very chilled.

Because of the many opportunities a large and diverse school like UNT offers, students who have many interests thrive here. It is also ideal for students involved in the fine arts, as it has well-known music and art programs (and with good reason!). The population of UNT is diverse and being a member of it requires a certain amount of open-mindedness as prejudices are not well tolerated, but nearly anyone could find a place to fit in as we all come together in the common culture of college life.

The University of North Texas is an extremly diverse college with a great background of music and art. Therefore, artistic and music bound majors seems to be the norm. Yet a new buisness building is in the process of being built and should bring a lot of attention towards the buisness side of the college. Denton is a great college town and has enough night life around it to stay entertained. Also the University offers tons of resources to the students which is great for getting through all four years of college.

The type of person that should attend this school should be the same for any school; an individual that seeks intellectual growth in regards to using that knowledge to effect his/her surroundings positively. I feel like anyone could attend this school, but mostly someone who is looking for diversity and a close knit community. UNT is bigger than a community college but smaller than a huge school like UTA. It offers most majors and tons of living opportunities. There are many different people here so I guess one would have to be open minded and open to new people and new things.

UNT is one of the most diverse campuses in the state of Texas. Therefore, the ethnicity has no effect on the type of person that should attend UNT. The main characteristics of a UNT student are open-minded, self-motivated, and down to earth.

An idividual attending this school would find themselves better suited if they were very diverse. There are alot of different types of people who attend U.N.T and alot of different activities to participate in. The charecteristic of diversity would deffinitely find someone better equiped to handle the enviornment. Being some one who doesn't mind being outside should definately consider this establishment. This campus is large and there is a fairly good amount of walking outside that will be done in order to get to and from class. However; The campus is beautifull and well worth the walk

The school is very involved in the arts and has amazing programs in the arts, but it is not easy at all to get in and requires a lot of work to succeed in them. If you want a great education and are not afraid to work. then it is a great school.
