If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high-school senior, knowing what I know currently about college life and still figuring out on how to make the transition, I would advice myself to apply to scholarships, financial aid, and university research early and ahead of time, to be able to get advanced knowledge on the process and steps needed to make a transition from college to a university. If somebody would of told me this earlier in my senior year in high school I would be much more advanced in my studies now. Currently I am working on my science associates degree, I am trying to transfer to medical school, and become a doctor. Most of my college courses now deal with biology and anatomy, botany, et cetera. I feel that due to the lack of knowledge back in my senior year, now I am suffering the consequences of being 22 and yet in my third year in college. Hopefully I will be able to advance someday when I am able to dedicate my whole time to school, and I dont have to work full time and study at the same time.
First of all my classmates are my inspiration, while I know I have classmates and while i survive with them I attain more inspiration for my daily writings and homework, I think that my classmates are my daily motivations; as they are part of my daily progress and life in college, each and everyone of my classmates has their own unique way of learning and helping me out through life's daily stress and survival.
The school is best known for the transfer program. Students will attend this school for 1-2 years to start gaining credits or earn an associate's degree before transferring to a 4 year school.
My school, Northern Virginia Community College has demonstrated their great security, as you might of already heard of the shooting that occured at my campus; Woodbridge campus this tuesday, December the eigth. Thanks to this highly specialized security system in Northern Virginia Community I feel releived to say that I am proud of the way our police handled the situation. We were very fortunate that nobody got hurt as it had happened before in other universities. I felt very concerned and desconcerted when I learned about the shooting in the campus I attend. I hope this never happens again.
The people who should attend Northen Virginia Community college are those individuals who set their priorities strictly on education rather than parties. The school also has a adiquate nursing program for people who want to study in that field and has great reviews. The person who is seeking to further their education is highly recommend to attend this school.
The thing I brag about the most about my school is that it is cheaper than 4 year universities and I will not be as much in debt later in life.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the parking because you have to spend to park every semester rather than every year.
