University of Northwestern Ohio Top Questions

What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

Before I chose to come to this school, I wish I would have known about some other schools to go to. With my degree program I am only able to complete an Associate Degree at this current school. I've always wanted to complete my Bachelors Degree, and plan on continuing my education after I graduate here. I also wish I would have known how expensive books can be for classes. If I had know that before I would have applied for more scholarships, grants, and looked for ways to buy used books.

I wish I would have known that it was difficult to find jobs here

I wish I had known all of the possibilties the school had to offer before choosing just one program. I would have felt more secure had I known what all they had to offer in terms of programs and how they could have accomodated to me and my future career as they do to the athletes who are brought in with nearly full-ride scholarships. Since I am not eligible for financial aid, I wish to have had as many equal opportunities as everyone else with full assurance of knowing I could make it.

I wish I had known what campus life was really like, in addition to the fact that the University of Northwest Ohio is not as accredited and prestigious as I had always wished to attend for college.
