In general I think the stereotypes are that Notre Dame students are rich, stuck up, and smart. The stereotype about the University itself is that we care a lot about football and that it is an academically challenging school and it is diffficult to get in.

Currently I'm studying abroad in a program that isn't just for Notre Dame students...consequently, I talk to kids outside of Notre Dame and hear that most of them think Notre Dame is a bunch of rich, white, pretentious kids that never have to work for what they want, it's all handed down to them from "Daddy". I think there's also the stereotype that everyone is Catholic, and "super-overly-100{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} support everything the Church has ever said and done" Catholic at that.
