Sometimes people who work are arrogant about what student has to do rather than providing options.

There's a great amount of financial aid available as long as a person isn't middle class. The wealthy don't need help paying for school and the poor get federal financial aid. Minorities get special scholarships and the intellectually gifted are recruited to boost the schools academic standing. Anyone who is of average intelligence and average income falls by the wayside and is overlooked.

I consider the emphasis on the Greek system the worst thing about this school for those who are opposed to the Greek system. Social networks revolve around the Greek system.

Thankfully, there really aren't that many problems with our university. I'd say, the problem that I find annoying and bothers other people most frequently is parking availability. However, I am aware of the limited parking availability of other school that are the same size and their problems tend to be much worse...So, if parking is our worst problem, I'll take it; because it really isn't that bad.

The only thing I don't like about my college is there isn't alot of scholarships I can apply for in my College of Liberal Studies department. I think it is because their isn't alot of alumi support for my department.

I guess the worst thing is when you get a teacher that just doesn't teach well and makes a class that should be pretty basic into something very difficult. Students should know what they're getting into, and if one teacher makes a class significantly harder than another, it is unfair to those students because theire grades will affect their GPA which affects scholarship and admission to other academic programs. There should at least be a level playing field, which means we need a similar level of difficulty among classes that carry the same course number.

Academics trump football and the people in charge don't care about the students.

It is difficult to get involved in extra curriculuar activities such as clubs. If you are not completly sure of your major it is difficult to figure out what club to try to join.

There are so many events that revovle aroung sorority or frat life. To be in a soroity ar OU is expensive and time consuming. Not everyone can afford or has the time to be in one.

There are so much constructions going on!

I think the worst thing about my school is that some of the professors do not take into consideration that many Oklahoma students come from VERY small Oklahoma high schools with very little emphasis on furthering education and that it is sometimes a struggle to stay on top. Especially in fields such as art, writing, science, etc...

The Housing & Food Services Department. The year before I came to OU(2005 or 2006), our Housing & Food Services Department was reconized as one of the top 10 in Freshman experience concerning the aspect of the Housing and Food services that the freshman received. Every year since then, the availability of great food and customer service experiences has declined year after year.

I believe my school's extremely big campus is probably the worst thing at OU. I love walking, but sometimes it gets to me.

The worst thing about my school is their financial aid. They don't help out students enough financially and usually give them the run-around.

People tend to be very insular, especially in large, freshman level classes. It sometimes takes a lot of work to make friends if you don't know anyone coming in.
