University of Oregon has helped me to come out of my shell and feel more comfortable with getting out and talking to people, as well as feel comfortable being myself. I wouldn't choose any other school if I had the opportunity. The people that I have met, students as well as staff, at the UO have been some of the kindest and best people I've met in my life.

Well I feel like I would like to see if U of O and athletic's and even housing and even rec center all thee above should open there programs for those whom can't get GED or HS or college degrees or whom can't read and write or do basic skills of anything and would like to see if U of O and athletic's allow of helping the poor people whom get low in come of there handicap to get a scholarships at what ever it maybe and adding free programs of the class rooms and having the Government funds paying for it like free of charge for those whom can't afford of paying for there education all thee above . But I would like everyone at U of O also not to be not smoking or vaping no more for those whom have asthma issues of there breathing . I want that to be a new rule for a life time for NCU also . But I would love to attend the U of O college to attend the classes but I don't have a GED or a HS . Seems unfair that you all only accept people with GED's and HS. I am a huge Duck fan. please call me at 541-3599471. I have a disability . My name is Steven Roy Barone . But I would like to have either a scholarship to where I can be a Duck basketball player I am really good in sports and enjoy basketball . I want everyone to stop smoking and even vaping at U of O and want everyone at U of O to choose kindness for a life time.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Overall the University of Oregon is an excellent option for students, considering they have everything to offer including renowned athletics, well-developed academic programs, and a variety of extracurricular activities. If you're searching for the "classic college experience" Oregon does not disappoint. Regardless of interests, background, or experience, the school provides a variety of opportunities for everyone. Their administration truly care about each individual's success, and highly value the diversity among the students whether its based off ethnicity, personality, and/or experience. It is only advancing when it comes to overall quality due to continuous improvement with campus facilities, and transportation. A worrisome quality about the University is typically with the weather in Eugene, however, its reputation of constant rainy weather has been out of proportion, and a non-existent worry due to the programs and opportunities the school provides.

First-term as a freshman, I was a little unsure of my place on the University of Oregon campus. The University Of Oregon really prides itself on its community, but for a while, I felt a little lost. Second-term though, I took more opportunities on campus and suddenly everything was better. If you're into a community-driven, energy-packed, rigorously academic school with plenty of opportunities to try new things, I would definitely recommend.

Very open and spacious campus. The people and faculty make you feel welcome and comfortable. Since the campus is huge, there is a lot of walking around. Housing is expensive! All freshmen are required to live on campus. The university has many great financial aid support and options.

I have not yet attended this school, but I have visited and I’m attending in the fall. I get the sense that everyone there wants to help you learn and succeed. There are several internship opportunities for all students, and the counselors are always available to talk to about your plans in the future. The community is very welcoming, and the campus is very clean, and is always making improvements to make all the students feel at home.

The place is clean, and the campus is small. You can walk across the whole place in 12ish minutes. For the students, there are opportunities for underclassmen to get involved in research. it’s easy to make friends, and lots of people spend time at the EMU to chill or study.

University of Oregon is a fantastic school for everyone. We have tons of opportunities for everyone and their unique interests, and an accepting community. Also, we have classes that are amazing and comparable to prestigious schools around the country, without the super high levels of stress. Go Ducks!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

The University of Oregon is like the buffet at an all-inclusive resort. There is something for everyone though they do some things better than others, and there's always a beautiful view out the window. The U of O is moderate size for being in the category of large public universities, which means that we very rarely have classes larger than a hundred (which is much better than some students I've met from other schools who have intro classes of 500 or more). I am excited to continue my education here, grab something from the buffet, and make my way outside to enjoy it in the shade of a Douglass Fir.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

When I moved from Southern California to Oregon, I had no idea what to expect. I've heard the usual "it will be the best years of your life" and "it is so stressful, so you need to stay focused". However, what I didn't expect was to find some of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. They have brought me out of my shell and led me to opportunities I would have otherwise never participated in. If my high school self could see me now-a member of a sorority with a chosen major and wonderful people surrounding her-she would be so proud. The University of Oregon is truly an amazing place and will never stop surprising you.
