When studying, work to study in groups at times, not only by yourself. It's easier to stay focused on the subject and getting ideas from different perspectives sometimes helps. Also, the friends you make in college, especially those in the same field, can have benefits later in life. Knowing people helps with finding work as well as having support in difficult times.
