Highering your education should be a top goal for you because the work you will have to do takes time and dedcation. It is not easy but this school gives you every thing you need to succseed in life. Any person who has a family and works would benefit from this particular college. They assist with financial aid and student loans, the work can be completed on your own time no need to re-arrange your life schedule, everyone is very supportive and provides excellent communication. All need resources for completion of courses are at your finger tips and accessable through your computer in the comfort of your own home or where you feel most comfortable.

The kind of person that should attend this school is someone who is good with keeping track of what is due and when. A person that is able to get along with others and works well in a team. Someone who can be taught by reading and researching online because it is an online class and requires more independent studying.

I can only speak for the nursing program. Someone who is well diciplined in self study. Though the courses are offered one at a time, they are in fast paced 5 week sessions. The work is vigirous and you need to set aside the time to read, do research papaers and respond to class discussions. The work is asyncronous, so you can be flexible in when you post your work and this is a great advantage if you have a busy schedule. There is an excellent tech resource 24 hrs a day.

Students at the University of Phoenix should be dedicated, communicative, motivated, and hard-working. They must understand as adult college students, they might have to sacrifice personal activies or leisure time to pursue their education. They must be willing to contribute to their learning teams and strive to maintain integrity and academic excellence.

University of Phoenix's Online Program is excellent, the website tools and resources are extremely user friendly, however in order to be successful in an online program the student must be organized and committed. This is the perfect program for parents who are unable to attend college in the campus setting.

I would say a wealthy house wife should attend this school. It is a good school but the cost per credit hour is extremely too expensive.

In my opinion, there are many different types of people who would find this type of learning perfect for them. I am 58 yrs. old, almost divorced, and raising my 16 yr. old daughter. I'm on my own for my first time. Uof P-Online is "open" for me anytime I want to do my school work. I didn't do well in high school and moved overseas immediately after graduation. I don't have the pressure I did in H.S. Others would benefit who are in my type of a situation, or need to work around jobs.

Anyone that desires a degree but is afraid of what that will do to their lifestyle. It has been a challenging but comfortable transition to return to school. Financial aid is a problem of the past with the many options available to returning students. I do not make very much money, and the thought of student loans made me very nervous but the faculty was very understanding of this and gave me many options to help offset the cost of school.

Someone who likes to work ono projects and tasks by themselves. Someone who doesn't like or is intimidated by a traditional classroom setting. The university of phoenix also appeals to working professionals, workers, or stay at home moms who need to work or don't have a lot of time to attend a traditional college or university.

I would suggest online courses only to those with a very specific educational goal as well as lots of self discipline.

I also believe that the person that attends this school has to have a good idea of their schedule. Eventhough, we are in school on our own time we have to dedicate time to our classes. Its a big responsibility to be online. I know that I have to learn really quick how to manage my time and make time quicly for my school. the person that comes here has to be able to succeed.
