I can not always get a response from my acedemic advisor or my financial advisor as they are always switching them and no one knows the answer to simply questions.

Cynthia

The most frustrating thing about my school is nothing. I find the experience and education level awesome. I really never thought of going any place else. University Of Phoenix is on my top list of colleges to attend. I really thinking about getting my Masters and PHD, because I really enjoy the students, professors, financial counselors and the challenging of working hard. No frustrations about my school. I would love to meet each and every person who I started with in the beginning and will be ending with, just to say thanks for the lessons and experience. Go to UOP.

It can get frustrating always having to contact guidance or the financial aid department via email or phone. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to walk into an office and speak with someone in person. The University of Phoenix generally leaves you to sort things out online yourself. Anything in reference to scholarships or financial aid on their web-page, they are unable to answer any questions. This too can be frustrating.

Bryan

The most frustrating thing about my school is that we have slow communicaters, and not so good helpers to explain how to use the tools online.

Roger

Completing large projects with groups. It was very difficult for some students to always be productive. It seems that there were always other students completing more work than other students within the group.

Gloria

I find that working projects as a team makes this frustrating for me. I see where team projects helps us learn how to work as a team in the community. This is hard for me because I like to be responsible for my own errors and not take responsibility for anyone's errors when he or she does not know that an error was committed by them.

Michelle

I miss the hands on experiences that come from attending a traditional college/university.

Kevin

The school is not frustrating at all.

Even though it's an online campus, the amount of times that you have to post per week is demanding. I almost feel like I may have been better off taking online classes through my local community college.

Clara

When I first started just learning how to work the site, and the whole school thing it been so long from the last time I went to school.

Morgan

I do my homework late at night and if i have a question, it cant be answered until the next night via E-mail- talk about frustrating. The frustration makes me want to tackle the problem harder because i cant be beat by a computer can i LOL! Everything else is quick and easy to acces like support and online classes all the time, why cant an IM system be integrated or patched for tutors? Something of that nature would alleviate nights of throwing books=).

Robyn

The most frustrating part of attending online college is tackling new concepts that ultimately must be self taught. There are tutorials to aid but it is up to you to figure it out. Instructors are available to assist if questions are arise but they may not answer calls as quickly as the student needs the answer as the instructors have a jobs away from Phoenix.

charine

I have yet to find anything frustrating to me. I am online and I log in and put my time and log off. I have looked on the web page to the different things my school has to offer. I like the fact that I manage myself and I have due dates. Because of this I am able to to do well and not find many things that are frustrating. My school is straight to the point it the point it gives all the information that I need. Being online you don't have to worry about anyone frustrating me.

Alexandra

Due to the short duration of the classes, if sickness or emergency occurs, there really is not time to make up work.

Carrie

Taking an online course has very few disadvantages. Perhaps the most frustrating thing is having to read all the relevant information during the course on a computer screen. I miss real books! It is also somewhat frustrating not being able to raise my hand in class and get a quick answer to a quick question, it takes a little more effort online.

Alyssa

The most frustrating thing about attending the University of Phoenix online is having to pay for electronic books. I understand it is just like having the physical book, but I wish they did not cost just as much as actually having the book. Now , I am required to have enough hard drive space if I am to keep my books, like I have in the past going to traditional schools.

The most frustrating thing about my school that the only break that we get is Christmas Holiday. We have to go to school all year round, even when other colleges are out.

The most frustrating thing about my school is that I am not always able to get an immediate answer to my questions. krystal

nothing

Lindsey

I don't find anything frustrating about the school. I have worked with Academic counselors over the phone. Everyone at The University of Phoenix Axia College has made this experience pretty pain free. I have also started classes this week. You would think that there would be more barriers due to not being able to communicate face-to-face. I have previously attended on campus classes at a University and I like this method of learning better. It requires more participation which allows me to retain more from the subject matter.

Jacqueline

It's all online which gets stale sometimes. It would be nice to be able to interact in person during lessons.

Meagan

I am currently stating my first year on January 18th, 2010. I have not started classes yet.

Jessica

The most frustrating thing about University of Phoenix on-line is the amount of reasearch and paper writing. Because everything is done on line you write papers each week and then a large final project at the end. There are very few tests and all of the paper writing and essays can become tedious.

Catherine

The team concept is at times challenging and takes a continual effort for maximum results. Sometimes team members schedules conflict and not every team member has the same dedication as others. Working through the problems will have an advantage in the business world.

Bernadette

A lack of financial support.

Christine

Most people thrive on physical interaction with other people. Being an online student, the ability to interact with other students is completely different than in a traditional brick and mortar campus. Online we can email, post, and call each other - but unless you happen to be lucky enough to live near someone in your class, you don't get to sit around and socialize, have physical study groups, or get to know other students very well. When you choose to do courses online, this is just something you have to understand and accept.

Lisa

getting my professional judgement approved so I can receive financial aid again. they are taking way too long to approve my professional judgement. it has been six months and it still has not been approved.

Ryan

it is directed toward people already working in the field of their degree.

Juanro

I had one math teacher who was not very nice. I am really good at math but he didm't seem to like me for some reason, he was somewhat disrespectful and there was nothing I could do to get a good grade in his class. This was my lowest grade in my life and I felt that I should have received a better grade but he was not willing to listen. Ohterwise, my experience would have been near excellent.

Marissa

The frustrating thing about the University of Phoenix, would be that teachers are not always accessible. Most of the time, online instructors also teach in regular classroom so they are hard to get a hold of at times. University of Phoenix is also very expensive to attend, but I am hoping that it will be worth it since I will be receiving a bachelor's degree in four years instead of the six years it takes a student on average.

Starr

The most frustrating thing about my school is the more you advance the higher the tuition cost. My classes were $750 starting off and they are now $1,120. This is a $400 out of pocket expense I have to pay. This is very inconvenient, especially since it is holiday season now. If the courses stayed at $750 if would not be as difficult.

Krista

Basic Math and Algebra!

Jessica

Their financial aid work differently then traditional schools so it is hard to understand and keep up with!

Amanda

The most frustrating thing about the school is not being able to see the people or the teacher in my class, not knowing what they look like or who they are.

Breaunna

well my school wasnt listed so i picked something close to it. i do go to the university of phoenix the campus in palm desert california just so you know. but the most frustrating thing about UOPX to me is the fanacial aid. i didnt get an option for grants. they put me with a loan. one other thing is the fact that you only take one class at a time. even though there five week class's more class's at a time would be better.

susan

Having to wait on financial aid

Deborah

I am enjoying attending the University of Phoenix Online classes.

Lilah

Not having the close availability of going to a campus for needed help. My campus is an hour away and i take online courses at home
