University of Phoenix-Online Campus Top Questions

That online learning for math is next to impossible. That the costs are the same as if I went to a really great campus university which would mean that I had a LOT of extras for the same cost of online nothingness

I wish I had known that this school was very interactive. I would of considered it first and came here years ago.

I wish I had know a little more about the financial end. I did not expect it to take almost 4 years to receive my Bachelors Degree. I also wish they were a little more clear on the financial end and how much it was going to cost me. They also never told me that at times they would call me and ask for an out of pocket charge,

I wish I had known more about obtaining scholarships and grants. I have two loans, subsidized and unsubsidized. I am worried about paying these back because I am a single, stay at home mother and full-time student. I need as much help as possible in paying for my education.

I wish I had known about the University of Phoenix online before I tried a few other schools.

That there were so many different scholarships and aid that I could have applied for.

At this point of my online schooling, I wish I could know more about the in's and out's of finaical aide. I wish I knew more details about the classes for the school.I feel like I know quite abit about this school and, my experience has been very intresting.The advisors have given myself a good amount of knowlegde to use when in doubt.

I am content with the environment that was delivered through the online format. I am a very self driven individual, so it suited my lifestyle well.

I researched University of Phoenix - online campus before applying for admission. I feel I was well informed and so there is nothing I wish I had known.

I wish I would have known that there would be so much reading work to do in so little time.

I wish that I had known, in depth, the time and energy required to complete the courses online. These courses are more demanding than I had thought. It has been a challenge, but i am enjoying it.

I wish I understood how many papers I was going to have to write and what the online committment was. Of course I was told these things, I just do not think that I took the time to accurately process those thoughts.

How much the classes are they are over priced

I think I would have like to know what other program specifics they offered I may have chosen another direction, but at the same school.

I wish I had known how great it was, I would have gone back to school years ago. Everyone is so helpful, and nice. The staff helped me with every step, to get me enrolled but were not pushy about it. There are also so many resources available on the school site, to ensure I am a success.

I wish I had known that it existed and that it was possible to obtain a degree based on all online classes.

I wish I had know about this school before I came here. I would have come here much sooner. As a wife of a solider I have to move freqyently so I was never able to finish my degree. With University of Pheonix I can keep taking my classes when we move. Because it is on-line the classes tranfer wherever I do.

In how long will it take me to earn my BSM/M through online studies.

How easy and fast you can leran online. Traditional colleges can be a distraction and at time a sacrifice to go full-time. Going to school online allows student to have a full life and become a full-time student.

I wish I knew APA FORMAT. I wish i had more computer skills. I wish I was better in math. But the school quickly helped me improve in those areas.

More about online school because then I would have started out here in the first place!

I was previously at another school waiting for the Bachelors Degree to come available. By the time that it did, University of Phoenix had a better program for me to follow.

That tuition increases a good bit every year

How sorry their residencies are.

Every step of the way my academic advisor is there for me every step of the way holding my hand and giving me encouragement that I need to keep going when feel that I am at the end of my academic rope. My finance counselor helps me to make the financial aid choices for myself and my situaton; as well as, pointing in the direction of scholarships. UoP has so many ways for students and faculty to connect. One thing I have learned for sure is that their are many ways to communicate.

I would have gone to a state based school

The cost. Other than that I love my classes at school

How large the classes were and how hard it is to connect with people. It takes time but most people do find their niche eventually.

I wish that I would have looked into my online school opions a little more. Even though I feel like University is going to be the best fit for me, I didnt know that there were that many online based schools.

I would have loved to know that all instructors are not as pleasant and understanding as others are. I was under the empression the instructors will do their best at making sure all material is understood.

I wish that I had done a lot more studying in high school! But that was 40 years ago. I wish I had known that I was going to feel panicky, just not knowing if I can do this. It's a very scary situation to be in. I'm a gilder, by profession, for the last 6 years. I got laid off. This was my choice, and rather suddenly, because I don't want to depend on my husband paying me spousal support the rest of my life. I'm more learning as I go along. No hind sight.

I would have hope for more insight to career paths and personal learning skill assesments.

I would like to have known more about scholarships. They rely on the Pell grant and student loans. It would have good information to know sources for scholarships.

I wish I had taken the time to sit and decide what is was I actually saw myself doing professionally before i went to school for several different things and piling up student laons for things I obviously cannot see myself doing in the future professionally.

The only thing I wish I knew before I started school is that I was eligible for the HESSA grant as well but because the school is not based out of NJ they will not alllow me to use the money. WHich is unfair because their is a NJ campus and I am in NJ online. I love the school and I am very pleased with eveything. My counsler Vanessa is fantastic and spoils me. No mattter what question I have or what I need she gets it done for me. I am also very happy with my teachers.

The school has very strict policies. They do not allow extra credit. If you post into a class 2x (which is required on the first day) you have to pay for that class no matter what. If you are lucky enough to get an incomplete, assisnments cannot be turned in after 4 days and they lose 10{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} each day, you have only 5 weeks to make up the work. These are only a few examples but the rules are VERY strict and there is no bending at all. Also if you need disability services you have to have a DR.

The amount of research and writing required for each class.

A better idea of the online platform and a more thorough unerstanding of time management. The overall experience was wonderful and testing at the same time!

I wish I had known passion the way I do now, with understanding and empathy of others. I wish I had been less afraid when I returned to college, more sure of myself, and with a better understanding of who I am. However, returning to college has helped me find myself and finally become a "grown up". I wish I had taken more time after high school before going to college, I'm glas I'm back in school. I wish I would have known how dissapointed by parents were when I left school the first time.

I had a pretty good insight into the school, as several people I know have attended it. I felt well informed.

I honestly wish I had known just how much work it would take. When I originally registered I was told by the Academic Counselor that her A students spent about 15 hours a week on their course reading and work. I found that it was a lot more than this to actually read the course material versus just skimming it for answers.

I wish I would have known that my finances would be so bad that I have to take out more loans to pay them. it's a struggle and I am very stress, where it is interferring with my work.

I wish that I had known a little more about online schooling. I am very satified with the courses, however the communication is very different than I had expected. In stead of getting to talk directly to your classmates you post messages. This in not a negative thing just different. I would have like to have known this before starting so that it wasn't such a learning process. I feel that I would be more confident if I had asked a few more questions and researched a little more.

The academic team assigned to me fully prepared me for the academic experience at this school.

How long it would have taken to get back into school after high school graduation. I feel that so much time has been wasted, and I have so much time to make up for.
