    As diverse as the students. To be a professor you must have a PhD in your field. some are experts in their field, others are locally and internationally famous for their work experience. But in the end they are all human beings that (for the most part) enjoy the student filled atmosphere and love to be a part of the cultural and educational formation of the ones who will carry on their field of work

    Excellent. It has some of the best programs in the Carribean and Latin America. Even some from the United States come to study at UPR Rio Piedras

    Besides sports (being the LAI champions 24 times) theatre, Tuna, and music groups are important and relevant to life at Campus.

    If you're reffering to the Rio Piedras Campus, it is the largest in the country with a reputation for being the center of student movement in the Island of Puerto Rico where you will get a diverse look at cultural manifests even if you can't find your classrooms on the first week of the school year.

    Depending on what kind of work: Quiet place: Lazaro, Derecho and Architecture libraries. Interviews: Social Sciences and Drama faculties. Conversations to essay or compose: School of Communication, Humanities College. Film and Photograph: All through Campus!

    We are considered the social misfits. This is because Rio Piedras has been the center of social and educational movements through Puerto Rico's history. But we consider ourselves world students and look to find an education everybody can achieve and afford.
