The University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras can be described as the best in the Caribbean, where the atmosphere is of familiarity but with an anonymous feel in the student body; the education is good but students might have to go out of their way to achieve other goals and look for opportunities beyond the University, given that it doesn't provide the help for it.


The oldest building is the Humanities College and they left the original façade. There are trees everywhere. The rest is pretty generic for a medium-sized/large campus in the 21st century. I think it's very pretty :)


UPR is a great place to learn; it has excellent academics but the social environment is also great.
