Classes are a different world in college. All the work must be done yourself and nobody is going to baby you. Classes are medium normally 30 kids at a maximum and the information covered during the semester is a lot.
They are extremely informative and are very interesting. Most teachers use different styles and approaches to material and try not to read directly out of the textbook.
Classes vary a lot. It really depends. The introductory level classes are hard to make personal connections with the professors, but it's a lot easier with the upper level professors. I enjoy class most of the time, and it's really important to make yourself stand out and participate. If only everyone participated, classes would be a million times better. I find the learning I do outside the class is a lot more helpful.
