Beautiful campus, small class sizes, being near the beach, good business program.

USD is known for having a good business school. It is also known for its beautiful campus, great food, and small classes.

I love homecoming every year where there is a tailgate with great food and alumni. The homecoming football game is a lit of fun as well. Also, the basketball games against San Diego State and Gonzaga every year are great because the whole school comes out for these games which makes the atmosphere awesome! Also, the Alcala Bazaar is a great tradition where at the beginning of each semester all the clubs and organizations set up booths all around campus to try and recruit new members. It is a great way to see the diversity of the USD community.

I think the thing that the University of San Diego is best known for would have to be the beautiful campus, the great weather that San Diego gets year-round, and the sense of community that is felt on campus. Everyone at the University of San Diego is dedicated to help you no matter what their title at the school may be. Accademically however, I think we are best known for our law school and business school.

The University of San Diego is best known for academically challenging coursework, provided in a small class-size setting. The campus is considered to be one of the most beautiful college campuses, and has the perfect amount of undergraduate students which promotes an inclusive feeling amongst the student-body.

Univeristy of San Diego is best known for our business school. Most people here are attending because of our high and up and coming business school. We are also known to have many many wealthy students. I have heard from friends of mine that this school is also known as University of Spoiled Daughters. There are more girls then guys here. A very big female population. We weren't really known for diversity before, but the school is improving that and each class seems more diverse. We seem to be very up and coming.

Having a Catholic Background, Its church on campus, the views and archtecture, then the academics

The University of San Diego is best known for providing excellent classroom settings and academic help. Teachers are readily available in their office hours and there is no wait. Each class is small in size so the interaction between student and teacher is almost inevitable. Although this university is Catholic, the pressures of religion are not shown.

The school is known for business, pre-law, and pre-med.

Great architecture and scenery. Amazing atmosphere. One of the top 50 business schools in the nation. The Professors are top-knotch and very experienced in what they teach.

USD is often called "University of Spoiled Daughters" and "University of Sufer Dudes," but recently the school is making a name for itself in it's fair-trade and eco-friendly policies. We are also know for our overwhelming white population.

This school is best known for its focus on research in both science and engineering, specifically neuroscience.
