University of San Francisco Top Questions

What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

Maria Fernanda

The staff only knows how to contact another person rather than try to stick with you along the way if you have a problem. They are too focused on their own lives to care about the students unless they are constantly reminded.

Tiffany

The most fustrating thing about my school is the area it's in. It is in the middle of San Francisco, where there are always a lot of cars and no places to park. Yes, it's beautiful, but traffic is crazy. In addition to that, public transportatoin is convienent, but it is also unsafe and unsanitary. The school itself is amazing, but what lies on the outside is frightening.

Beverlee

We do not have a footbal team andyou walk a lot to go to places.

Paige

The cost. While I am a firm believer in the idea that there is no better investment than in an education, the University of San Francisco is definitely costly. If I had more financial resources, I'm sure I would have absolutely no complaints about the school but unforunately that is not the case.

Taylor

Due to its location it is sometimes difficult to socalize on weekend because if people live off campus it often takes a long bus ride to get there .

Jessica

The lack of school commradery and social atmosphere of the overall university.

Ryane

The most frustrating thing about University of San Francisco is the inability to get work study. I am currently on financial aid and even though I receive enough to cover most of my expenses I still really need work study funds to supplement my financial aid. I have noticed that the jobs that are available for work study recepients are given o student who are not receiving work study. This creates a big problem for me financially in that I usually have to ask family members for money to make the remainder of the tuition payment.

Valerie

The most frustrating thing about the University of San Francisco is the lack of variety of clubs and organizations. There are not as many as I would have hoped there would be and very few that fit my passions. Getting involved is not as easy as I thought it would be because there are not many clubs to choose from. It is frustrating trying to find a way to do community service because it is so hard to find opportunities for them.

Angelica

The most frustrating thing about the University of San Francisco is that there are little events that promote school spirit or involvement and the school lacks Greek organizations.

Tammy

The horrible internet connection is the most frustrating thing about my school. Work for most classes require the internet, therefore, most students rely on the internet to get their work done. However, the internet's failure to provide a connection, most of the time, causes students to lose important data and their work. The internet connection's failure to provide students with the online connection they need frustrates most, if not all, the students.

Tuition costs nearly 40,000 dollars a year. With scholarships, this is a reasonable price for a nursing degree that guarantees graduation in four years with a BSN. However, for a majority of other majors, the cost of tuition is not readily apparent in our schools equiptment, computer and specialized rooms, or science laboratory equipment. Many people have difficulties getting financial aid, and we lose students ever year who transfer to state schools with better reputations, supplies and less tuition.

Kathleen

The most frustrating thing about my school is that it is hilly!

Myrel

challenging classes and competition with other students

Luong

I haven't got any frustrating.

Chenoa

The school charges a rediculous amount of money for an average education. The actual facilities are getting old while the school spends massive amounts of money on stupid decorations. You will be charged for a bus pass and activity fee regardless of whether you have a car or are interested in any activities. You will see a constant increase in charges with little to no change in your environment. If you are an underclassmen and want the convenience of living on campus, you will have a limit on how many times a friend can stay over in your room/month.

Bharat

For the money it costs, there simply aren't enough career services. It costs far too much, and delivers way too little as far as a phyiscal return on the investment.

emily

The administration doesnt listen to us all the time when we need them.
