So far there is not anything that has been done poorly. The school has good reviews for my major. I like the multiple options like in person, hybrid and online. Communication has been great so far. I live off campus so do not have a review about off campus living.
Personally, I have loved USAO so far, as a freshman they have made me extremely comfortable and have let me know all of the opportunities that I have access to. The class sizes are smaller than other college's which I prefer because I get more one on one time with the professor, and they take the time to get to know me.
The university is a very good school that makes me feel wanted, comfortable, and safe. I can approach any teacher or staff member at any time and they will try and help me the best they can. The school puts the students as their highest priority. The teachers always make sure that their students are prepared and know what is going on.
USAO is a very warm and inviting campus. Its small size and small classes means you know a bunch of people and make a bunch of friends. People here aren't hateful or judging and you can be who you want to be. This is a campus where you can really get involved in groups or easily make your own group! Usao is an amazing school and I really recommend it to anyone who is looking to go to diverse and comfortable school!

So far, my college experience has allowed me to grow as an individual and as a future physician. Moving to a small town that faces a completely different set of challenges than the city has allowed me to understand more than just the people next door, but the people across the state. The worth of my education cannot be given a price, this is all I have ever wanted to do and I am ecstatic to be achieving and living out my dreams.
My school is really small so teacher's and students are close. For a student like me who gets lost in big crows will defenetly benefit from small environment school.
I wish I had known how I would really get along with my roommates. Sometimes people's personalities don't click, and you need to be prepaired for it to happen sometimes. Last semester one of my roommates provided this problems for myself and my other roommates. It caused some problems, but we had it resolved and now things are better than ever!
USAO is the ideal school for someone who wants to knwo everyone on campus, participate in many activities, and really be involved in the school. Because it is such a small school (less than 1500 students) many students participate in several activites.
The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma is a liberal, accepting, and encouraging environment that promotes equal rights, the individual voice, and knowledge to explore, ask questions, and find answers.
Students who would like to go a big, enormous campus, and live in a big city, and not just near a city, should not attend this campus.
My classmates are decent, nice people once you get to know them.
Although I am a city girl, and graduated from the largest high school in OKlahoma, I consider the class size as one of the best characteristics of USAO. The norm for general education classes is about 70 students. Within my major I have had classes with less than 10. This allows for a lot more one-on-one attention. The professors know every student by name. All of the students know almost everyone on campus. The professors push to challenge their students because they know what each one is capable of.
I would say the cost of living. I just think that it is very expensive to live on campus and for me that s where all my loans go to. I wish also that some of the scholarships were open to every student and not only to those who graduated from an high school in Oklahoma or those who play sports. They should be based on others criterias.
I think my school is best known for it's facuilty and student body. Everyone is very personable, despite it's diverse crowd.
The most frustrating thing about my school is that you are not able to pick which teacher you want a lot of the time. Because it is a small school, usually only one teacher teaches a certain class.
I've never been to a campus like this. When I thought of college, I always pictured a chaotic, populous university that always had some kind of crazy frat party going on. I didn't like that image of college. So, when I came to USAO expecting it to be like that, I was given a pleasant surprise. My campus is very laid back and friendly to everyone that enters. Our enrollment is just under 1000 students which feels small but you still meet new people each day. I woudn't trade this for anything.
