community college 4 year degree
USC-Aiken is a four year school that offers many different majors. There is something for everyone. The campus is smaller that most Universities, but offers all the academics and activities that the larger schools have with smaller classroom settings. What I like about the school and what makes it unique, is the fact that it sits right in the middle of Aiken, SC. You can be in Augusta, Georgia in less that 15 minutes and be in Columbia, SC in 45 minutes. So, it has that hometown feeling with the convenience of the biggers cities so close.
All and all I love this campus! It is the right size for everything! Great layout of the campus itself, beautiful in the spring, tons of tress and swings that you can stop and read on before a class, every building is within walking distance from the dorms and other buildings, Aiken itself has a lot to do and if you don't think so then Augusta and that mall is 20 mins away!
One thing unique about my school is the environment. The campus is situated in a country environment, but with a suburban atmosphere. It's not too crowded, but it's not all spread out. Student artwork is everywhere on campus, and the surrounding area.
Small classes are great, professors are very helpful. Price is right
My school offers many interesting classes, as well as many helpful people. It's unique in a way, because there are so many oppurtunities for people.
This school is a lot smaller than other colleges I considered. When I walk into a classroom, I typiccally recognize most of the people in there. it makes it more comfortable. I may have the same teacher multiple times, which kind of deepens the relationship. I could go to them after class, and have a serious discussion about the subject they teach. I do not think that you could get that at many other places. They make you feel like an individual instead of just another student whose name they don't care to remember. It's a unique characteristic.
ITS THE SMALLEST AND HAS NO FOOTBALL TEAM
