What's unique about your campus?

While I don't always like how big it is or where it's located I would have to say that we're diverse. Though there is quite a bit of work to do for most people to understand the differences between us all there is still a while assortment of people to make friends with.

The best thing about my school is that I have great teachers that take time out to help us and there are lots of tutoring sessions and ways to get the help that you need available. Advisors are easy to make contact with and they give you the best advice that you need to graduate on time and to help you to not carry a heavy load. Scheduling is made very easy for the students and there is always lots of class times available.

I think the best thing about my school is the school spirit. Most students who go here have been gamecock fans their whole lives and we wear our pride on our shoulders. Everybody who goes to the University of South Carolina is pround to attend here and they let everyone know it.

I believe the best thing about my school is the connection that all the students have surrounding spirit and commradery regardind the school itself. All of the students get along very well with each other and absolutely love the school that they attend. Football and sports are more of a religion than a game and it connects the whole campus. The students really try to be there for each other in more ways than just education and play time. They really show an interest in everyone and really want to help everyone.

There's a special kind of atmosphere that permeates the campus on Saturdays in the fall. Football brings the students together every year, regardless of the weather or the team's record. South Carolina students are never bandwagon fans; they have a long suffering history that includes untold numbers of close calls, tough losses, and bad breaks. Still, every home game sees thousands of students making the two mile journey from campus to the stadium, enjoying the sense of community as they hold out hope for a successful season.
