I absolutely love my school because I have a close relationship with my peers and professors due to the smaller class sizes. Also I enjoy having a smaller campus because it lets everyone get to know each other better. Furthermore, I feel like my school prepares students for life after the degree by prepping students for what the job scene will actually be like.

Taylor - 04/28/2020

I could not have chosen a better place to further my education. University of South Carolina-Lancaster makes everyone feel very welcomed. Everyone is willing to help each other out for anything. The atmosphere is great. Professors and others who work on campus are always willing to help in any way they can. I would definitely recommend this school to others.

I believe my college is a great one. I’ve toured many and it was my favorite and extremely close to home. Everyone knows everyone and the teachers know you by name. Everyone is very friendly and I don’t feel like a burden if I need extra help or have questions for any of the professors.

Uscl has great class sizes, that gives its students the opportunity to develop personal relationship with the professors. Professor's often give their personal phone number to students for class related issues. I found myself taking this too my advantage when I was uncertain about the specifics of an assignment. While the the class sizes are great but the facilities are not up to par. The computer labs and wellness center are both too small and outdated for a universities use.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I had a chance to go back i would have three things to tell myself. One is to study a little more to get acustomed to doing so. The second would be to save as much money as possible because things can and will get tough at certain times. My last thing would have to be just to relax it's not as stressful as some people make it out to being.

The worst thing I consider about The University of South Carolina Lancaster are that we don't have more programs for students. 8. What's unique about your campus?

There were several great things at the University of South Carolina Lancaster, but I would have to say that one of the best things is the classroom sizes. Many class sizes are small and the college population isn't very large therefore the student gets a better one-on-one time with the teachers. Not only do they get more one-on-one time, the teachers don't have that many students so they get to know the students better which makes more college students feel more welcomed and comfortable.

  10. What kind of person should not attend this school?

This University is really an all around amazing college! I personally felt very accepted and actually enjoyed school. I knew that if I had any problems with anything I had loads of support and help behind me! The teachers actually WANT you to pass unlike the bigger universities where the classes are so full that teachers never even get a chance to learn your name. This school is not for the students who want to blend in and be surrounded by a huge college population.
