University of South Carolina-Upstate Top Questions

I think the most unique thing about USC Upstate compared to other schools are the private bathrooms. Most schools have commuinty bathrooms where you have to share with everyone on your dorm floor. At Upstate you have a bathroom available in your dorm room that you just share with your roommates.

They have great classes and great friendly relationships

I chose USC Upstate because of it's small town home feeling.

my school has academic advisors, teachers, and faculty members that are willing to hepl out with any of the problems that you have either on or off campus. my school also has many different on campus activities that are free for all students and really help out when students are stressed and need to have a little fun

It's a smaller university but the people their are so nice and friendly.

My school, Georgia College and State Univeristy has a small town feel to it. With a little over 5,000 students we feel like individuals and not just numbers. Our class sizes are small and we are able to achieve one-on-one attention with teachers.

Its a very colorful campus as far as racial diversity is concerned. We have every ethnic group imaginable on our campus. Japanese, Jewish, Muslim, as well as African and many others. Everyone gets along and practices culture awareness

Its a green campus, and professors are more personable.

I think that the small classroom setting makes my school unique. It provides more interaction between professors and students, and also between students themselves on a personal level. That allows for more opportunities for study groups or networking

small classes make it easy to learn

This school stands out from others I considered in that it is within the town I live in, a major factor in my decision for financial reasons. I feel like this school is small compared to other schools I considered, but the community thrives on being tight and it is easy to network with people who share similar interests. At other larger schools, it may be easier to be lost in the crowd.

It's smaller, and the school dosen't have a football team.
