It's a "party" school but the students are actually intelligent.

The University of South Carolina, Upstate is a diverse university which tries to incorporate every culture of student on its campus. The professors are accessible and are willing to help each and every student who asks for their help. The environment is amazing, it is not too big or too small.

You can make your own organization at school. All you have to do is get ten friends.

That it has a great gym. That the campus is very pretty. That some of the professor's are great others are not so be sure to look who you are choosing as your professor.

I brag about all the help offered to students at the campus. We have writing centers, math centers, science centers, and many others. We also have wonderful counseling centers. They also offer a university 101 class which helps you transtion to college your freshman year. I took the class last semester and loved it. I am so happy that I was able to take it, because it help me meet new people and get to know them. It also helped explain about how to deal with stress and peer-pressure.

They have one of the best nursing programs.

I must say that there are three things that I have to mention when I talk to my friends about going to school here. One: the professors are all delightfully insane. It's like having some of my best friends for teachers ten years down the road. Two: the library is massive. If you're a dork like me, that is absolutely amazing. I ran out of books to read in high school. Three: there is real food in the cafeteria. After 4 years of high school lunches, words can't describe the taste of actual meat for lunch.

I brag to friends about how commited the tearchers are with helping students understand the material.

The school is close enough to my parents so that if I needed to, I could come home. However, I am far enough away from home so that I can obtain some independence and lead a seperate life. Also, the campus is really beautiful; I enjoy walking or going for a run around the most scenic routes. It is very relaxing, especially when you're stressed out from finals or a paper that is due.

I feel so much more comfortable at Upstate than I do at other colleges. The faculty is awesome and there are so many resources for the students to effectively do their work and to make good grades. It is hard work, but it is definitely a great atmosphere and environment to get a college degree.

It is the most wonderful atmosphere because there are people out there that care about how you succeed! They really want to help you reach your goal! The instructors are willing to help you in any possible and the students are talking to you and you get along with them pretty easily! I love my school also because of all the extracirrcular activities!

The professors. You were a person at the USC Upstate. Besides that, they were very knowledgable and experienced in their fields. I learned more than book stuff, I learned from their experiences they shared.
