What's unique about your campus?

It is very diverse. There are many international students studying here. Students come from a lot of different countries. They come from Europe, Asia, The Middle East, Africa, Latin America, etc. I enjoy being alble to meet so many people from different countries around the world. Also, they have clubs and programs that help American students and international students meet each other. This is something that I love about the University of Southern Indiana.

The atmosphere between students and faculty. You really get to know your professors and you can talk to them about your grades, other classes, worries and even as a friend.

Lauren

USI is not focused on a particular sport or activity. All clubs, organizations, and teams are treated with respect and are considered important aspects to the university. With over 70 clubs and organizations and several sports teams, USI has something for every student to get involved in. I think this is excellent. No student should feel out of place at USI; every student will be able to find something to join that he or she is interested in therefore will meet people with the same interests. While no one is pushed to get involved, I think everyone should be.

The best thing about University of Southern Indiana is that the school is smaller so it is not as overwhelming as many of the bigger Universities. The class sizes are smaller which allows students to develop a closer relationship with professors. The campus is also small which makes it easy for students to get to their classes. Compared to most universities, the dorm rooms are also larger with each room having two bathrooms and a common room. Students will also find that the advisors are also helpful.

My school is always growing and always getting bigger. You have the small town feel but larger college experience. The school is close enough for those students who don't have the money to stay at home and those who want to live on or off campus to do so.

Neil

I would consider the best thing about the University of Southern Indiana is that everyone from other students to faculty all show true southern hospitality. Everyone around campus is here to help. Even for the smallest things such as one day when I was bringing in a huge load of groceries in the dorm another student, I had no clue was, held the door open so I could walk in. To staff member, I barely know, taking her time to help find me an internship when her job had nothing to do with career services. I greatly appreciate everyone here!

I consider the best thing bout my school is its focus for my future success. As of now , I am a biology major, planning on going into pre-med. My classes are difficult, but my teachers are there for help whenever I need them. They are supportive and push us to strive and expect for the best. I appreciate my teachers interest in my future of becoming a doctor. Without their support, the process of reaching my goal would be alot more frustrating. I am excited to see where my future leads me with the help of my professors!

Renae

It offers something for everyone and the students and faculty are friendly and willing to help.

Britni

It is a small school, allowing for the professors to interact more with the students and help them when they are stuggling.

Michael

It's a pretty easy going place and it's easy to get into the classes you want.

Amanda

The best thing about the University of Southern Indiana is that each class is small enough to feel comfortable in your space. Speech class was nothing like I thought. Mrs. Kats made it a wonderful experience and now I love to speak to large class sizes. So, I would have to say that the small class rooms and the way the teachers like to keep everything hands on.

Katie

I like the close knit atmosphere of the students and campus.

Jessica

It's a great size.
