Not only should that person be motivated and determined to learn and become successful, he or she should know to appreciate the opportunities and education provided. The professors at the University of St. Thomas (UST) are those who encourage students to learn and apply what they learn to real life. Afterall, UST's motto is, "Challenge yourself, change our world".


The type of person who should attend this school varies. There are a ton of ways to be involved in this school. St. Thomas has a great focus of education, faith, and having a good time. The job placement is also a great reason to attend school here. Wether students are interested in fishing or chess, there is a cornicopia of groups to choose from and become a part of.

The type of person that should attend this school should be very goal orientated. I believe St. Thomas is a school that allows you to succeed in all you choose to pursue. This person should have an idea of what they would like to do in the future and be very prepared to take on a challenge.


Students should be driven not only to do well academically, but driven to become part of the St. Thomas way of life. With thousands of programs and activies specifically created to help students get involved in the Tommie lifestyle, students are encouraged to interact with eachother and form a prideful community with eachother.


I think anyone can fit in this school, but if you want the large university it probably isn't the place for you. Just like in any college, you have to go into it with an open mind and a positive attitude. The first semester seems to be the toughest and then it's great after that!

Anyone can attend if they are willing to learn. Small class sizes give students the chance to get their opinions heard and questions answered. It's a Catholic school and requires Theology courses, so one should also be open to it, although it is not pushed upon the students. St. Thomas is in a residential area so it is relatively safe and quiet, but not to far from the downtown area.


A person who is determined to do well in school. They are focused on their studies and have an genuine desire to do well in school and have successful career after they graduate.


I feel that a prospective St. Thomas student should be a hard working and social person. The classes are tough if one does not manage his time wisely, but work is only half of the experience. Almost everyone at St. Thomas is outgoing and friendly. Also, if a prospective student is looking to study abroad, we have one of the best study abroad programs in the nation, so there are many opportunities for one to travel the world and expand his horizons.


Some one who keeps up with their school work and studies hard would fit in well at St Thomas.


A person that should attend University of St. Thomas is someone who is driven. This school academically challenges you to learn a lot and achieve what you want. This person should want a medium sized school with a smaller student to teacher ratio. This person should be outgoing and hopefully has some money, because its expensive! The person who comes here should be ready for a fun college experience and should like getting involved with school activities.

The kind of person that shoudl attend this University, is one who wants to learn and get far in life with a solid carrer. They have to be fully willing to work hard. This university provides so many activites to get everyoen involved so someone who is willign to step out of their shell to experience new things with new people will greatly benefit from attending this university. There is no social pressure to fit in with "clicks" so as long as you are accepting, everyoen is goign to accept you!

While obtaining the knowledge necessary for the future, St. Thomas allows students to become as involved as they want by providing many clubs, organizations and entertainment for an enjoyable social life.

There are many different types of people here so that any person will feel welcome here if they give it a chance. There are people here from all different parts of the United States and also a lot of foreign exchange students from many different countries. There are poeple who are from bigger cities and also people here who come from place where their town only has five people. Everyone should attend this school.


Any type of person can attend St.Thomas. We area very versatile and open to all sorts of students. We have students from over 25 countries and we are a liberal school. A student who wants to get involved is a perfect type. We have over 100 clubs to get involved with. For example, I am on the Green Team, Eastern European Club, and Global Minded Student Assosiation as well as being a Tommie Ambassador!


A person interested in attending a smaller school that is catholic while still retaining the experience of being in a big city. A person interested in building closer relationships but still looking for some aninimoity; a person that is looking for a college that is concerned about student saftey.

A person should attend this school if they have an interest in receiving a solid liberal arts education. The campus also has a seminary program, Saint John Vianney College Seminary, which is the largest college seminary in the country. For those discerning the priesthood, there is no better place to be. In general, the campus is small, but not too small. The area is beautiful and very homey and while being located within the twin cities. A great school for a the all around college experience.


People who seek to reach their highest potential in a community-based learning environment should come to this school. People who are seeking small class sizes, professors who are always available to help you and respond relatively quickly to emails and questions, as well as people who are seeking a campus filled with social activities (and perhaps opportunities for free food!) would enjoy this university very much. Also, students who are seeking a university in an area close to the city but not necessarily in the city would enjoy this school as well.


Someone that wants to fit in and be like mean girls at the college level. The academics are great, but most of the people are stuck up snobs. It depends what you want. If you want to see girls wearing heels to class everyday and people rarely wear sweatpants, so if that is you this is your school.
