I think anyone can fit in this school, but if you want the large university it probably isn't the place for you. Just like in any college, you have to go into it with an open mind and a positive attitude. The first semester seems to be the toughest and then it's great after that!

Anyone can attend if they are willing to learn. Small class sizes give students the chance to get their opinions heard and questions answered. It's a Catholic school and requires Theology courses, so one should also be open to it, although it is not pushed upon the students. St. Thomas is in a residential area so it is relatively safe and quiet, but not to far from the downtown area.
A person who is determined to do well in school. They are focused on their studies and have an genuine desire to do well in school and have successful career after they graduate.
I feel that a prospective St. Thomas student should be a hard working and social person. The classes are tough if one does not manage his time wisely, but work is only half of the experience. Almost everyone at St. Thomas is outgoing and friendly. Also, if a prospective student is looking to study abroad, we have one of the best study abroad programs in the nation, so there are many opportunities for one to travel the world and expand his horizons.

There are people here from all different parts of the United States and also a lot of foreign exchange students from many different countries. There are poeple who are from bigger cities and also people here who come from place where their town only has five people. Everyone should attend this school.
Any type of person can attend St.Thomas. We area very versatile and open to all sorts of students. We have students from over 25 countries and we are a liberal school. A student who wants to get involved is a perfect type. We have over 100 clubs to get involved with. For example, I am on the Green Team, Eastern European Club, and Global Minded Student Assosiation as well as being a Tommie Ambassador!
A person interested in attending a smaller school that is catholic while still retaining the experience of being in a big city. A person interested in building closer relationships but still looking for some aninimoity; a person that is looking for a college that is concerned about student saftey.

A person should attend this school if they have an interest in receiving a solid liberal arts education. The campus also has a seminary program, Saint John Vianney College Seminary, which is the largest college seminary in the country. For those discerning the priesthood, there is no better place to be. In general, the campus is small, but not too small. The area is beautiful and very homey and while being located within the twin cities. A great school for a the all around college experience.
People who seek to reach their highest potential in a community-based learning environment should come to this school. People who are seeking small class sizes, professors who are always available to help you and respond relatively quickly to emails and questions, as well as people who are seeking a campus filled with social activities (and perhaps opportunities for free food!) would enjoy this university very much. Also, students who are seeking a university in an area close to the city but not necessarily in the city would enjoy this school as well.
Someone that wants to fit in and be like mean girls at the college level. The academics are great, but most of the people are stuck up snobs. It depends what you want. If you want to see girls wearing heels to class everyday and people rarely wear sweatpants, so if that is you this is your school.
