University of St. Thomas is a smaller school. I think that is the best thing because there is a great sense of community. There are always familiar faces wherever you go, but it is a big enough school that you are able to meet new people all the time as well.

The best thing about UST is the Catholic Studies program. I love the CS department. The faculty and professors in the CS department are all so kind, joyful, and patient. They go out of their way to help you, and do it with a smile on your face. The academics for the Catholic Studies major are some of the best classes I have taken so far in my college career.

The small class sizes allow for, in my opinion, better learning. It is much easier to get to know classmates and study and go ove homework with them. All professors have open office hours where they are available and more than willing to help outside of office hours too.

With so many activites and clubs to be part of you are able to meet new people and even make some friends along the way.

While I will be attending law school directly after my undergrad, other students have experienced a high volume of work opportunites through on-campus visits by professionals and many online career forums through UST. The UST community has a large network of connections throughout the midwest. If a student is looking to stay in the midwest or enter in to a masters or pre-professional program immediately post-graduation, UST is the perfect school.

The best part about St. Thomas is the relatively small campus: literally size, as well as student body and class sizes. I have never felt like "just a number" at UST because my professors know my name and my largest class was an introductory biology lecture that had approximately sixty students. Furthermore, living in the dorms, I could leave my room ten minutes before class and arrive with time to spare. While UST is the largest private school in Minnesota, it still has a sense of community and you recognize smiling faces where ever you go!

When I first walk on to the St. Thomas campus, and saw the quad, the beautiful architecture of the buildings, and the friendly students I had a overwhelming positive feeling. I knew that St. Thomas was the place where I wanted to learn and make new relationships. I think most of the students would agree with me that the best part of St. Thomas is the univeristy's neighborly and amiable culture, and at the same time it has all the beneficial attributes of being in a big city, like St. Paul.

Laziness is not rewarded by any measure, as high standards for the level of education is maintained.

I consider the diversity to be the best thing here at St. Thomas. People from all over the state and country come here and I love hearing stories about how they heard about St. Thomas. I live only about 40 minutes away so St. Thomas was not a stranger to me but I have a friend from Africa who is enrolled here which is amazing. I think our diverse cultures make for a very respecting and open minded campus which is very different from my high school.

The town I live in isn't a very large town, and now that I am living in St. Paul ,I love living in the cities. It is fun with all of the different activities to d, and it makes me feel older and that I am more on my own.

The best part of going to the University of St. Thomas is the professors. When I decided to become a music major here, I was a little worried because the facilities aren't exactly up-to-par. However, the professors within the department are absolutely incredible and they makeup for the lack of practice rooms and a nice performance hall.

In most schools the ration is a very high number of students to few teachers, but at St. Thomas there is a 15:1; 15 students to 1 teacher. The professors strive to do their best to explain material and make sure you understand it. Where as the Residence staff works hard to make sure you like where you live and everything is clean at all times. Everyone here is willing to help out any way possible!

The best thing about St. Thomas is that even though you are surrounded by people who are from the same economic statuses, similar backgrounds, and dress the same way, there is still room for you to learn something from each person. Each person here is different, but it takes a little more than a first glance to realize this. You must take the initiative to get to know each and every person and realize that even though people may appear to be the same, each person is an individual with their own characteristics, views, and talents.

I think the best thing about St Thomas is they do a really great job at helping you post-graduation. Firms and businesses are often on campus through different clubs to talk about their business and inform students on internship opportunities. The career center also does a great job at assissting students to get internships. There is constantly opportunities to help students get a job once they have graduated.

The faculty crates a great environemnt to learn in and allows students to expand their knowledge with numerous of techniques and other strategies. The faculty also are there to help and expan your knowledge because of their love of he subject they are teaching and the way they wish to teach that sbject.

My school is relatively small, so the classes feel intimate and comfortable. My professors have all been fantastic; very enthusiastic about what they are teaching and extremely eager to help students. Having such quality professors is so important because it made me excited to learn, but comfortable asking for help. Because of this I earned good grades and feel like I have really received an enriching education that I may not have gotten with a lower quality staff of professors.

The best thing about my school are the professors. They all are well educated, always available and really want thier students to do well. I have had professors call me when I am home sick to see how I am doing. I think they really care. All of my professors have been understanding of my situation( being a nontraditional student). St. Thomas also has a great financial aid package. My tuition is paid for by grants and scholarships. My supplemental loans cover living expences. I do wish my loans were available sooner, but otherwise great financial aid.

I think the size of the school is the best thing. It is small enough so that you get to know other people within your classes, residence hall, and activities, and still get to see them around campus. However, it's also big enough that you get to meet a diverse group of people so that you are sure to find the people you mesh well with. And once you meet them, you sort of become a family here at St. Thomas.

In high school you are influenced by so many sources: parents, friends, teachers, and it is nice to experience things and decide things that are best for you rather than others. College is a learning process with everything you do and the things you encounter aren't always easy, but you get through it.

The location of St. Thomas is the best thing about ths campus. It is engulfed by the capital of Minnesota and anything that a college student would want to do it a quick drive or bus ride away. Coming from a small town, the contrast from home and school has greatly opened my mind and broadened my view and has given me experiences and freedoms that i wouldn't have back home.

There are numerous reasons as to why Liberty University is such an amazing school. I fell in love with school because it is a very diverse setting in which individuals from many different cultures can live and worship the same God and learn and develop friendships together.

Its location and its personability, they really try to make you feel welcome and almost 'baby' you wish helps a LOT.

My school has a very open atmosphere. People are very kind to each other and love meeting new people. There are many events that are designed to build and foster friendships. Such as dances, sporting events, talks, and fun events. One of my favorite was when they had a professional dancer come to our campus and teach us Thriller. It turned into a huge dance party and everyone had a really good time.
