I wish I had predicted the workload of each class. The amount of homework and classwork I recieve in my classes vary depending on the subject. For the most part, workload is light during the semester but it quickly becomes heavy towards the end of the semester since our final papers, midterms and exams are due before May. The work given to us is practical and can be applied to everday situations.

How hard you really do need to study and stay focused. Once you find the balance of classroom, homework and social life - you couldn't ask for a better college.

Amber

I wish that I would have looked up the requirements for my major before I started college. This is because I would have taken some classes over the summer before entering, so that I could be more ahead. Taking classes over the summer would have allowed me to take less classes during the school year so I can have a little more room in my schedule for a part time job on the side, so I would be able to depend less on my parents money.

I wish I had known what an amazing school Pacifc is. I only applied because it was a free application and because Pacific has a conservatory of music. What I didn't know was the excellence of performance that they demand from their teachers and students. This creates an amazing atmosphere for learning. I know every single one of my teachers personally and can receive help from them. This accessibility to knowledge breeds a thirst for more knowledge and a commitment to excellence in academics. I am so happy that I chose Pacific.

Just my financial aid situation. Upon agreeing to come to Pacific, I had been told I had much more financial aid than I ended up with. However, I fell in love with the school, and have not been able to relocate because of it.

How much it was going to cost me. I am struggling to pay tuition and didn't have enough notice that I was accepted to apply for scholarships. I have 2 classes left and have no idea how I will pay for them. I also wish I would have had a tour and a mento to advise me of everything the school had to offer me. I did not know we could use the gym for free and also would have known about the counseling and health clinics.

That there isn't a lot to do in Stockton. We are able to go to San Francisco and Sacramento, but with Stockton's reputation of being "sketchy", it doesn't allow for a lot of encouragment to venture off into the city. There aren't a lot of entertaining things to do off campus, rather most events are held on-campus.
