What's unique about your campus?

Sarah

Brubeck Institute students don't pay for school and are furnished with their own floor in the Burn's Tower to rehearse and practice.

Anwaar

One of the most unique things about Pacific is the great Burns tower and church on campus. You see all kinds of weddings and ceremonies being held on Saturdays at the Church. It's that pretty of a campus that people are actually willing to get married there. The campus' beauty is a rather unique feature. We scored Top 5 most beautiful campuses in the country a couple of years ago.

Danielle

The fact that this school is smaller and the professors can work with students one on one.

Hillary

The school is private so budget cuts are not an issue, also a small school is very nice to have.

Nichole

I consider the size of my school being the best aspect. The average class size is about 20 students. The teachers know us each individually which makes Your learning experience is personal. It makes me feel like I am important and a priority and not just another student. The teachers care about us and want to see us succeed and most importantly, they love what they do. They want to be there to instruct us and see us succeed. I know i can go to class and get an excellent education with no distractions.

Ariana

A great thing about the university is that it truly feels like a community. this is partly because the school is so small, which some people don't like, but if a student is the kind of person that enjoys a tight-knit community, pacific is a great example of that. everwhere you go and in every class you're in, you see people you know and it's easy to make friends. also because of the size, relationships are easy to form with the professors and they are easy to contact and are always very helpful.

Theresa

The best thing about my school is the ability for you to get to know your professors. This is great because you aren't scared or intimidated when you talk to them. Though they are your professors not your friends, you can talk to them like they are your friends and just like a friend they will help you the best way they can.

Hanna

The classes are small and the professors are always willing to work with your academic needs.

Caitlin

The laboratories in the chemistry and biology departments are fantastic! Although the tools maybe a little old, they provide a fountain full of knowledge. The models, specimens, and slides in the biology lab help to give students a visual and physical idea of what they are studying. In the chemistry lab, students are provided with all the tools they need to do the assigned experiments. Biology labs are 3 hours per week, while Chemistry labs are 6 hours a week. Both labs relate to the material learned in lecture and support a better understanding of each subject.

The interation with the students and professors. the professors want the students to learn and move into the direction of their choosing, for when the go out into the real world they have the knowledge and understanding to stay and learn from the job.

Kelsie

Smaller home town feel is great environment to learn in, campus is small enough you don't need a bike, big enough for a change of scenery every now and then. Professors are well prepared and easy to talk to. Overall, the campus resources are easily accessable and the staff are all there to help you with as much as they can.

Kaleena

The beautiful grounds and architecture are first things that caught my eye and I continue to appreciate them daily. The school looks like it belongs on the East Coast, with its old brick and stone buildings and plenty of trees. I love walking around campus or stopping to chat on a bench near rosebushes. Another great thing about walking around campus is that the size of the school is just the right size to walk around and see someone you know every couple of minutes. On top of this, I love that an internship/co-op is required of students.

Kristen

I would have to say that the size is the best thing. With about 2500 people on campus, most people know each other, there is one on one attention from professors, and the campus is fairly small. Not to mention class sizes. I very much take for granted the fact that there are very rarely over 30 people in a class. Everyone is interconnected in some way. All of the different on campus groups work together as well.

John

class size, their small

Susan

There's a variety of courses in subjects of interest. The classes and labs are small so it doesn't feel crowded. There is tutoring, review sessions and office hours with professors if help is needed. The library is open late and has study rooms so there's a quiet place to study. The campus is clean, looks nice and has modern equipment. Courses for one's major are placed close together so there's a long distance to walk from class to class. There are many chances to get involved in activities or attend club sponsored events and festivals.

Alexander

Small class sizes.
