The University of Toledo has a long standing, solid history in the community and around the state. Being a student on the health Science campus has its advantages like being on the same campus as a medical center & a state of the art simulation center. The University cares about it's students and programs. There is a great amount of time spent to continue achievement of their high standards and finding ways to improve students overall education.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would tell myself that college requires a great amount of self discipline. You may have made it this far, but it will be easier for you in the long run if you start making the transition now. Even though you are able to receive A?s by studying three hours daily, some days you should push to four hours. It also helps if you do more work than you believe is necessary. I am quite sure that no one accomplished great things by doing the minimum amount of work. You should also worry less about due dates and focus more on what is due. You have wasted a good portion of your life worrying. You will accomplish more if less time is wasted on worrying and more time is spent preparing. The most important thing to keep in mind is that no one really fails from trying his or her best. Even if you do not succeed the first time you try, you still gain the learning experience. You will also be more likely to succeed the second and third time. You have only truly failed, once you give up.

  4. What's unique about your campus?

I think the best part about my school would have to be the instructors that are so willing to give students thier time. There are many students who need extra help with thier academics and have no one to turn to. That is why I think that it is such a privilege to have so many instructors that care about thier students education. Some instructors are almost always in the learning center offering thier time to student who really need it.

  5. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

I think the worst part about my school is the lack of space. The classrooms are very crowded and it is very hard to find a place to park. It is harder to learn in an overcrowded room that is full of distractions. As for the parking issue, some days I drive around for about a half hour looking for somwhere to park. If I could not leave early, I would miss the first half of some classes.

  6. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

The campus is very large and confussing. It took a long time to figure out where we were going and how to get there. The funny thing is the campuses I have attended and am attending now are not even listed in your data base.
