University Of Valley Forge has a great digital media and music program! It is a great opportunity to learn and get hands on experience, and not just in the class. They offer they opportunity to participate in chapel production. That is anything from running sound to manning a camera or operating lights or the presentations. There are dance groups, improv teams and many other ways to get involved in the community.
I think it is a great school its just not for everyone. It is a small school and a christian school so there are a lot of rules that others may not understand or agree or want to be part of. But the people are super sweet and caring and Chapel and classes are always amazing but the weekends there is nothing to do its very boring. Wish we had for events and things to do.
UVF is a place where you not only go to get education, but you become family. It is a small school that allows you to get to know one another, and interact with the professors. The professors care about you and a lot of times help you outside of the class room and also spend time with you as well. There are some things that need to be change and they are in the working progress of changing a lot of things at UVF. Overall I'd say that UVF is a place that if you like small settings and like to be close to people, UVF is the place to be.
The University of Valley Forge is a campus on the brink of achieving success. The root of its success will be the effort its students and staff put in. We are not the biggest, or the smartest, or the best at sports, but I do believe we have the best hearts. There are faults in our leadership and in our class room consistency. Our discipline programs on campus are ineffective and ignored. The athletic program is full of apathetic students using the school as a stepping stone. Despite all these downfalls, things are changing. You can see with every upcoming class these problems are dwindling. While things still need fixed, I am confidant things are turning up.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for University of Valley Forge is 78%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
During my college expirience, I discover more and mroe of who I truly am on a daily basis.
Someone who is a Christian and is not planning on drinking while attending college. VFCC is especially geared toward religious majors such as Pastoral Ministry, however, there are other majors such as Digital Media and Psychology.
The food. I feel like I eat the same thing every day because the food is either cold or does not taste as it should. Other than that, nothing.
It is a very welcoming place where you can grow spiritual, learn a lot, meet many new friends and the leadership is always very supportive.
My classmates are diverse, outgoing and opinionated, but they are respectful and know when enough is enough.
I wish only that I had known that I didn't have to try as much as I did to try to fit in and thereby make friends. VFCC has a great leadership team and group of student leadership/government that make every opportunity and multiple opportunities for the students to bond and grow closer to the other students of the college. For example, the college also puts a great importance on community; every Spring, VFCC holds its annual Community Service Day, where all of the students go into the community to do odd jobs and clean-up.
The cost of the school is extremely low, and yet the education is top knotch.
Someone who is into the partying scene. Drugs, smoking and alcohol are not tolerated, and neither is sex. If you care little about moral values or a relationship with God, this is not the school for you.
I think the assistance they provide is the best thing! They help with school work if it's not understood and they help financially!
The lower number of students here provide a better opportunity for students and professors to build relationships. I love the friendships that I have developed with the faculty and staff.
The worst thing about my school is that there is no pool, and the fact that you have to travel a good distance in order to find something to do. I don't like these things first off because i love swimming and secondly because it gets boring especially on the weekends that no one goes home.
Valley Forge has a great music and digital media program. All kinds of talented people are somehow attracted to Phoenixville to attend VFCC. The small but quaint and comfortable campus houses about 900 students and the professors are wonderful and interested in helping each and every student in the best way they can. Also, Psychology and Pastoral Ministry majors are well spoken of, and popular for young men and women.
