I guess students complain about the workload the most. Sometimes they complain about the walking distance since all the buildings are so spread out. For instance, I wouldn't enjoy living in Hereford and trying to get to class in McLeod (the Nursing School). It's even harder if you live off grounds and don't have a car. This year with the construction, the bus routes have changed and are less convenient than before.
Parking and construction. Those are definitely the most complained about problems here. There is simply not enough pavement around here for everyone to park a car which means parking is rather expensive. Your best bet is to either master the public transportation system (UVA has their own bus system) or anticipate getting plenty of exercise!
