What is your overall opinion of this school?

The school offers vast opportunities for the students to gain exposure to desired fields as well as get involved in social scenes across campus. Due to the magnitude of the college the campus offer diversity both of the population, class content and the offerings. Among my favorite memories are meeting the new people in my classes along with my interactuve teachers. UW is home. Despit being far larger than any other class size I feel safe and comfortable explroing new ideas and asking questions. For this UW is a great school with the experience to match its state charm and reputation.

The University of Washington-Seattle Campus, is my dream university. I moved to Washington with the purpose of attending the University of Washington, and I happened to be one of the lucky ones that got in. As a result, I pretty much love everything about the campus. It is a beautiful. The students are actively engaged in everything, the professors tend to know what they are talking about and are very helpful, and the advisers in the various undergraduate majors are extremely active in keeping their students in the know (I get multiple emails a day from the English department to the point that it is actually kind of annoying). I learned on my very first day that this school wants you to succeed.

University of Washington may not be the friendliest campus, but hey, that's the city of Seattle as a whole, and you'd be hard pressed to find a more beautiful campus. Science, math, and engineering are particularly emphasized on this campus, and with multiple big employers like Google and Amazon in the city this can only be a good thing. As long as you don't mind starting out with 800 people in a classroom, you'll get some of the best teachers, including lectures from nobel laureates, and have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow at every corner.

UW was pretty but thats just about it. Lots of liberals who pretend to get football on Saturdays in the fall and spend more time with there nose in a book than at social events pretty much sums up the student body. It sounds harsh but as a WSU Coug I can confidently say, if you want to enjoy college and are looking at UW, you are about 300 miles too far west. GO COUGS!

I love the University of Washington! The academics are the campus is beautiful. Professors and Teaching Assistants are very helpful and really understand their area of study. In addition to great academics, UW has a great social environment and well established sport following. It is very easy for students to join clubs and recreational sports at UW.

I love love love the University of Washington! The campus is beautiful, the classes are challenging enough to make you push yourself, and most of the students are very involved in the school. It is my first year here and I am super excited to spend the next years here as well!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

The UW has a wide range of activities, resources, and opportunities in the area. They are very accommodating of personal hardships, individual student goals, and skillset improvement and building. The faculty cares a lot about their student's improvement and growth in terms of emotional and educational attainment.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

The University of Washington is considered a public Ivy for a reason. While it's only moderately selective towards high school seniors, once admitted, most students struggle to gain acceptance into their majors. It's a competitive system. However, the programs here are astounding for most majors; Architecture, Engineering and Business are just examples. The campus itself is beautiful, the buildings are designed well. The Drumheller fountain, red square and the cherry blossom trees in the quad are stunning. The school has excellent resources including the impressive libraries, tutoring/ clue sessions, and advisors. There are many fun things to do around campus, and many great places to eat at on the Ave. The UW bookstore is filled with UW gear. Husky games are extremely enjoyable to go to. Dorm life is great, west campus dorms are the newer ones and most students apply to get into these. North campus has its own perks. Food account payments are unreasonably high and many students struggle to finish it before the year ends because they are nonrefundable. Greek life is strong here, and there are many opportunities to rush for frats and sororities. There are many social frats and sororities and also ones that are more major or academic centered. There are parties every Tuesday and Thursday on greek row. The IMA is a popular place for students to go and work out, with an abundance of activities in addition to the gym. Taekwondo, swimming, archery and dance are just examples. Overall a good school.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Overall, the University of Washington has good academics -- but not much else. The campus is pretty but a little too big, and STEM classes are overcrowded whereas many arts classes have very few students. The worst thing about UW is that you can be accepted into the college but not into your major -- meaning you might need to spend an extra year so you can get into your major.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I have been accepted to this campus and I am from out of state. I am excited to begin Autumn 2018. When I visited this campus, I felt very good about the academic life on campus. The campus was beautiful and has a lot of history and I want to become part of it. During the visit, the student ambassador made me feel comfortable about attending a large university.
