I love the campus! It's very spacious, so there is a lot to do. The Ave in west campus has tons of shops and restaurants, so you don't have to travel far to get what you need. Seattle is also an awesome city, with no shortage of activities and places to visit, and Puget Sound is beautiful!

I think UW seattle is a great school. Lots of activities inside and outside of learning. The city of Seatlle is expensive which is hard, but UW provides a lot housing and food that is managable. Overall, I would reccomend the University of Washington to people and I would encourage everybody to think about exploring the campus.

The University of Washington is an outstanding university. Coming to the University of Washington was very intimidating because I am from a small community in Yakima. But the University of Washington does a great job of making their students feel like they belong here.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I love the University campus, the atmosphere is awesome and the people are great! I recommend for students majoring in a STEM program and want to live in the city. I am a liberal arts major and it is a good place, but there are defiantly more opportunities on campus if you are a CompSci, Engineering, or Med student.

University of Washington is an amazing college. It's full of diversity and everyone are friendly. Some of the class size are big, but other are small and you can communicate with your professor. There are many clubs, sports, activities to choose from to join. You make friends easily because everyone are nice here.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I am in the Greek System at UW and i generally think its a great school but you can definitely just become another number and if you don't get involved you can drown in all the crowds of people. It's very depressing and lonely at points epescially with the weather and the gross/scary Ave. and the city. There is definitely a HUGE gap between the GDI's (a slightly derogatory term used by greeks to described non-Greeks that stands for "God Damn Independents") and those who chose Sorority and Fraternity life. It's a great school and you could definitely find your niche in the dorms but if you want to party and be a part of the social scene go greek. Also, understand the Greeks at UW are uber smart and the rest of the school honestly doesn't give them enough credit. They literally ONLY party and prefunk and exchange on the weekdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays are when the biggest most fun parties happen. If you've got connections you could maybe go to a GAD (Grab-A-Date) on a Friday but you will be bored out of your mind on the weekends unless its football season. In that case, Game Days are intense and you probably won't remember it since they start going at it with the tailgates and morning bars at 8 am for a 7:30 pm game. Greeks party when they should be studying and actually average better GPA's than the UW average. The Greek community is a win-win situation for anyone social and smart since you will find that social scene but also be a part of a VERY philanthropic and academic-based community. It's a big school, but find your scene or you probably won't like it here

Everything good you can hope for in college - an atmosphere of learning and discovery, fascinating people and a group you'll fit in, incredible resources at your fingertips - it's all available at UW. It's truly a great school, and if you take advantage of all the UW has to offer, you'll think so too.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Having participated in a couple clinical trials at the UWSOM at the UWMC, I can attest for the professionalism and expediency of the employees there. From the clinicians to the study coordinators and reception, everyone is diligent and respectful. As a public entity, the institution finds a great balance between serving the public and improving our health while consistently delivering high quality academic advancements from many of the clinical trials that happen at the UW.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I really enjoy the University of Washington. The campus is close to the city of Seattle, and is easily accessible using the student U-Pass. However, it is far enough away to feel like its own city. I love walking the campus because its beautiful, especially in the springtime when the cherry blossoms are out!
