What's the hardest thing about freshman year?

Chelsea

The hardest thing about freshman year would be the loneliness. If you're not naturally extroverted, it is a huge effort to talk to strangers. If anything, don't burn any bridges and just be friendly. People are generally nice and welcoming. If you're afraid, they won't be mean. If anything, they will pick up on your loneliness and invite you out, you just have to accept the invitations. There are times you will be tired and just want to stay in, but I will guarantee that you will almost never regret meeting new friends and spending time with them. Being alone in a new place is scary and getting out there is hard, but once you've done it, you'll realize that everything else is a piece of cake from then on.
