It is a nice school for people that what to have the experience of college but do not want to go somewhere huge. Everyone is nice to each other, you can make friends easy and not have to worry about meeting people that you did in high school. It has a lot to offer even though it is a small college but they do the best that they can and they deliver on it.
The University of west Alabama is overall a great place to attend to further your education. Everyone her as a very welcoming personality and makes you feel at home. There is always a event or program every week for students to get involved around campus. I would recommend this school to all high school seniors looking for a school to attend.
I like the school mainly for the affordable education and great atmosphere. I started attending The University of West Alabama in the fall of 2017 and have not looked back. I really love the help that can be received from professors and the sense of urgency for achieving your goals.
The University of West Alabama is a great school. The campus is very historic and a sight to see. On Campus Housing could be better. The inside and outside of the dorms are outdated. Also community bathrooms are terrible, to have for a dorm. The cafeteria food is good, but there could be more variety.
West Alabama is a great school DEPENDING on your major. The class sizes aren’t too big and allow professors more opportunities to meet with students. Now some professors will actually teach you and some will force you to teach yourself so be careful when selecting courses because some professors have Reps. The on campus housing is alright but not much of a variety or privacy. It’s not much to do in little ole Livingston so be prepared to sometimes be bored out of your mind ! Last thing make sure you make friends or it’ll be the longest four years of your life .
The University of West Alabama (UWA) is a great university and the staff is very friendly and the classroom sizes are very small and teachers are able to get one on one time with the students and the campus has a very friendly vibe and there are general stores within walking distance and restaurants everywhere it is a truely quiet college town.
This place is a great place. It's a home away from home for sure. I love it here and would advise to those wanting a safe college to attend here. Our football team is one of the best in the NCAA. The scarlet band is an amazing band. Overall this school became my top choice after a tour took place.
The professor knew who I was just by my major. That was a big thing for me. The campus is the right size, everything is within walking distance. The dorm rooms were very spacious as well as the bathroom. I loved the atmosphere of the school and how everyone was so helpful and nice.
Great school! The professors and teachers are are really dedicated and available. The campus life is interactive and offers a broad range of activities available for everyone. It’s located in a small town so there isn’t much to do but neighboring towns are pretty active.
The University of West Alabama is a fantastic University. UWA is fantastic because it is a small university so that means everyone is familiar with each other. Knowing each other provides a family type environment that makes me like feel I'm at home.
Great place to attend. I am currently working on my second degree from this college and the ease of financial aid, registration, and teacher availability are also. I have classes online and tech help is 24 hours a day, but the system is has never been down in 1 year. The program completion estimate is very correct.
I think University of West Alabama is a good school but there is room for improvement. Many of the facilities are out of date, but prices for these same buildings increase every year. Housing is unreasonable and each year there is less and less space. The school is affordable when there aren't unnecessary fees added to your tuition.
