The worst thing someone could do would not be outgoing and get to know other students fast in the beginning of the year because everyone is friendly and not knowing new people could be hard to make it through the year.

The worst thing at school is the food. There are healthy options, but there is an overwhelming amount of unhealthy food and always being on the go as a college student, it's very difficult to put together a decent meal that isn't high in fat or sodium. That being said, the quality of the healthy food they do have is terrible. It seems like they round up the bruised or damaged produce from the grocery store and sell it to us at the university. I am pretty disappointed with the food here to say the least.

Some of the classes I need are not being offered at convenient times for me.

When you are a student who does not live on campus and is taking courses online, you miss a lot of the benefits. Being able to put your books on your student account so financial aid can cover it is one of them. Also, the need for various materials is harder to obtain. If their online server goes out (this has happened) this becomes a real problem for online students.

I think the worst thing about UW Oshkosh is the amount of garbage left in our college dorms. Our stairs are littered with food and garbage that nobody feels the need to pick up or throw away. Most of this garbage is present on weekends, which is the result of excessive drinking. There seems to be piles of garbage in the corners of the staircases that visitors to the campus look at with disgust.

There really isn't anything that is bad at my school besides when the snow melts it leaves a bad smell but other than that I can't really say there is a bad thing about my schoool.

The cold! Love the school but it would be really nice if it was not so cold outside. It is nothing that the school can control though so you can not hold it against them. If you want to come here, just make sure you bundle up.

The one thing I dislike the most about the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is it's reputation. Some people believe that UW Oshkosh is a school that people go to in order to slack off and party. This is not the truth about UW Oshkosh at all. This school is full of amazing people with big aspirations who are willing to work hard to acheive their goals. UW Oshkosh has presented me with so many opportunities and I believe that the postives of the University should be celebrated.

To get a BS in any science department you must complete different science courses. It is almost impossible to graduate in four years because of five credit introductory courses overlapping time slots. Scheduling is a nightmare.

The worst thing about my school would have to be the fact that it is so far away from my home. It is about a two and a half hour drive away from my small home town. It means I do not get to go home as much as possible, but that also means that I stay at school more and get to experience new activities.

I think most colleges have this problem, but trying to get into desired classes is difficult. I could understand having difficulty trying to get into classes that deal with your major, but I can't even get into general education classes that I need to graduate. It's making it hard to try to find enough credits to be considered a full-time student.

The worse thing about my school is large numbers of people in small areas. I love how much the campus has to offer and I love how compact the campus is. However, this means that sometimes many people are in one small place at the same time, such as meal time. I don't like being in large groups of people or having to squeeze through crowds to get where I need to be.

It would definitely be the safety issue. I do not feel safe walking around my campus/town at night for fear of being mugged.

I would consider the parking and policies to be the worst part. the policies because no one tries to help you and are very stern. Parking is expensive and incomvienent.

The worst thing about my school would have to be, the violence that goes on at night, after classes are let out and students are walking back to their dorms. I have been attending UW Oshkosh for only a semester now and have heard a number of stories from other students and from e-mails I receive about a group of students beating and robbing fellow students. This is definitely an issue I'd like to see UW Oshkosh focus on.

I would say the dorms are the worst thing about my school. They are very old and not and didn't seem like a very nice place to stay. That was the reason I decided to commute from home.

One of the things that my friends and I always say that we don't like about our school is how windy it is on campus. We know that is not something that does not really reflex the school, but it is windy. Another thing I don't really like is the food variety. The food is all really good, but the variety is not the greatest. After a couple weeks it feels like you have had everything and they don't really mix up what they serve that much.

Parking! The parking around the school is rather inconvenient in that there are 4 hour limits for how long a car can park on the street, but at the same time the school is trying to promote enivironmental sustainability. Wouldn't it be more conducive to the environment if students didn't have to run to their cars and move them to avoid a ticket?

The worst thing about my school is the pressure to drink and party at a very young age because at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh there is a large amount of students that are underaged that drink or are pressured to do so. It is often hard to not fold to pressure but it is easy to avoid these type of people.

The worst thing about my school is that most of the classes are very large sized making it hard to get more personal attention from professors.

Sometimes the cost of the dorms seem a little high, but I suppose that goes for all dorms at all colleges.

The campus population isn't huge, but the campus is a bit spread out. A ten minute walk from a dorm to class, etc. isn't too bad, except for in the winter... this is Wisconsin we're talking about. The good thing, is most of us are used to the cold and snow, even if we don't like it.

The location, I don't like the city of Oshkosh very much, I'd prefer a bigger city with more to do.

The only bad thing I can think of is having to have some type of job off campus in order to support myself which does not allow me the flexibility to participate in some activities on campus that I would participate in if I had more time to be able to do them.

Oshkosh gets a bad reputation for being a party school which simply is not true. Yes, some students do go out multiple nights during the week, but most of the students, and especially those who are dedicated to their studies, stay in at night and get work done. Most of the people that do attend parties do not enjoy themselves anyways.

The worst thing about UWO is the lack of food choices. Each day there is the same food and the cafeteria and its not that the food is bad, it just gets old. So if a larger variety of food was offered it would be better.

The worst thing about my school would have to be the amount of drinking that goes on. Needless to say almost all colleges have this problem but the alcohol consumption would have to be the worst thing about the school since there is not much that I can say that is bad about the school.

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh has a bad reputation for being a party school. I do believe that there is excessive amounts of drinking and partying that occur. However, I also believe you would be hard-pressed to find a public university that is much different. I do think that this is only a reputation and that plenty of students do not party each and every night and that there are plenty of other activities to participate in.

The worst thing in my school is registering for classes, its a pain and classes get booked really fast but i think thats the same in all school. Other than that I can't complain because i choose to futher my education and its all i expected.

I think that the worst thing about the school would probably be the amount of people to professors, so the amount of students in each class. Sometimes it seems a bit much. Lecture halls are huge classes, so it makes it difficult for class discussion and it makes it even more difficult for questions to be answered/asked/discussed.

I dislike the policy of closing the library quite early on weekends and closing the cafeteria on weekends. It does inconvenience students in a lot of ways. Closings like this and some inconsistant hours can make things hard for students who are trying to work around tight or changing schedules.

The lack of a well known reputation is the worst thing about Babson. It is the worst because everything else is great. Yet, being unknown outside of the investment banking/ Forbes & Business Week reading community is extremely detrimental to job prospects.

Some of the professors are hard too understand because they are so etnically diverse.

Its very cold in the winter and the walk to some buildings seems unbearable. Especially when it is only ten degrees outside.

The worst thing about this school is that sometimes it feels like there are no morals or respect for others. To have a good community where you can grow and learn there needs to be respect and a sense pf morals.

What you can get for a meal in the union, its not enough and very specific.

My school has very limited work out machinery, and does not offer very many four year degrees. If my college offered more degrees, I would not have to transfer next year. I would also use the facilities more if we had more exercise equipment.

The worst thing is probably that we have to check in to our dorms after 9:30p.m.

The worst thing about Oshkosh is that the students don't have a lot of team spirit. The games, meets, and matches are usually not very popular among the students. It's hard to be an athlete and not have the support of your peers. I wish that sports would be really popular here to attend like other big named schools.

The worst thing about my school would include some of the teachers. The math department contains foreign teachers with such deep accents it's hard to understand them. Otherwise, other things i would consider actually to be wose is the school rules. I was expecting more independence coming to college, but its not that much different than high school.

The worst thing about UW-Oshkosh would probably have to do nothing really assoicated with the teaching or learning part but during the winter months. They have one of the worst snow plow systems i have seen. The sidewalks do NOT get shoveled/plowed very well, and the streets are by far worse. It looks like they just go down the street in the middle and do not even care about the side of the street. Which makes it really hard to drive.
