Overall, UW-River Falls is great option for students that need an affordable choice for school and enjoy living in a small town. Campus is small compared to other UW schools but that is way I chose River Falls due to their location and how safe I feel being there.
I really love UWRF. The teachers are very smart and also very kind towards their students and co-workers. The students going to UWRF always want to learn and are all great and responsible people. I have made plenty of friends on campus. Also the campus is nice and there is a great place for students to hang out after class and during weekends.
I like how your website explains college life.
River Falls is very small city right on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Its for students who don't like small cities to get to the next closest bigger city. The academics at this school are similar to most universities but some professors can be rude at times when it comes to talking to students. Overall a good school and campus but financial aid takes forever to send out.

One of my favorite quotations by Tom Landry (former coach of the Dallas Cowboys) is "today I gave everything I had and what I kept for myself I lost forever." This quotation reminds us that it is truly the things we do outside of ourselves that will make an impact on our world. Yet, when you are choosing a college you are choosing to invest in yourself, and this investment is what will allow you to give back to your world. It is important when choosing a college to choose one that is going to best equip you as an individual to give back to others in the the way that you want. I majored in Communications and minored in Spanish, now I realize that I want to return to graduate school for a degree in International Education Development. Through the process of figuring out how I wanted to give back, I figured out which college and program will be the best fit for me. So take a good look at your life up until now and ask yourself what you want to give, and that will help you figure out what you need to get from your college education.
i dont really think anything bad about my schoool, i love it!
Fun people who are friendly and intersting to talk to most of the time.
That I didn't wan't to major in Elementary Education; I would have like to start off right away with history.
Anyone who wants to go to a big school. This is a big enough school where you don't know everyone, but small enough where word gets around fast.
The pricetag the fact that I got out with under 20,000 in debt and I just rented my textbooks as opposed to buying.
anyone that wants a small campus next to a big city!
An ag based school with dabblings of other areas mixed in for the purpose of attaining a state-school status.
Moo U
Class sizes are small, and instructors here really are focused on helping students learn, and do make personal connections with the students. The campus is small and compact, which keeps it personal. I have never seen a professor who was not willing to spend extra time going over material, even if it was not for their own class, to help a student understand.

There is little diversity and little to do on weekends. It is a suitcase campus. Not a good sense of community
Farmers and Hicks. This is not wrong but it is not completely true. We have a lot of students that are from rural areas of Wisconsin and Minnesota, but we as well have a great attraction to students in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with our teacher ed program which is one of the best in the country. UWRF is the mixing pot of the rural and urban students

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
