I wish I wish I would have known more about the city the school is in. There isn't much to do in the city and there isn't much to do on campus.
For starters, I absolutely wish that when my high school teachers told us as students that professors weren't going to prepare notes on the blackboard or overheard for us, I believed them. I wish that I had known that buying snowboots was actually a neccesity. I wish I knew that keeping a pet fish isn't as easy as it sounds. But, most importantly, I wish that I had known before I came to school that everything was going to be okay. I was going to make it. I was going to survive it. I could do it.
I wish i knew about oppurtunies for school, also getting recruited for football isn't easy.
I wish i had more weather appropriate clothing. i wish i had known how to save money and also that i dont have to go to every social event. i wish i would i had my driving license. i wish i had known how your grades effect your GPA. i wish had taking more collge now course so that i would of came to collge with credits. Theres so much i wish i would of learned in high school.
I wish I would've known about some of the prerequisites so that I could have taken them before the major courses at a community college where they are more affordable.
I am going to be starting in the Sping 2010 semester so I havn't come across any problems thus far.
I only wish that I would have taken more opportunites to be involved on campus and to take advantage of such programs as Work/Study. Looking back, it would have provided me more time to be involved and more time to devote to my studies.
Not to be an RA.
I wish I had known how disappointing the cafeteria food was.
I wish I had known just how expensive it would be, and that it is impossible to finish any bachelor's degree in 4 years (8 semesters). It ALWAYS takes longer no matter what degree program/major you are in.
How expensive it is. Even though it is a good school, it would have been much better to attend a less-expensive community college for the first 2 years to get core classes out of the way, and then transferred to Utica College for my bachelor's.
I do not wish i had anything before school because i put my trust in God and he is my sustanence.
How much everything would cost.
I wish i had better study habits.
