It is a very good school and I would recommend it to my peers. I had a parent that went to this school and they graduated and went on to have a very lucrative career. That pushed me into the direction of going to this school and I do not regret it. I like this school a lot.

Christine - 02/03/2021

I had to transfer to this school because the school that I was attending didn't offer my program. I will be transferring out as soon as I can find another school that offers this program. There are a few good instructors, and some are awful. The advisors aren't much better and will tell you to take classes that you shouldn't be taking, wasting time and money. The courses are inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, which is mostly just instructors throwing work at you without any instruction or guidance, and then disappearing when you need help.

Overall, the college itself isn't too bad. I have had great professors that were dedicated to the progress of my education. I am blessed to say that even though I work 2 jobs to pay for school since VGCC does NOT participate in the Federal Loan Program, I am still very happy to be a Vanguard!

Micah - 05/08/2019

The people there aren’t really into socializing outside of their social groups as there are very obvious cliques. The academics on campus are sufficient, although issues with online classes can be bothersome. It is a great place to earn your associates degree, but I wouldn’t stay there any later than that.
