I wish that I had known how small the campus really was. I thought it would be bigger. However, because it is such a small school, the community is great. It's a great school if you want to grow in your faith and make lifetime friends while still learning and broadening your education.
I wish I had known the requirements of going to this school. I came in only four days before school began which ment i didnt get the chance to go over all of the rules and requirements. Before coming to Vanguard I spent a lot of time stressing over how I should present myself. I knew that starting college in a new town would give me a fresh start, and a place to reinvent my image so I bought certain outfits and downloaded certain music. When I got to Vanguard and spent time there, I realized there was no reason at all to pretend to be someone else. I wish I had known from the beginning that being true to myself was always the best route to take. It would have saved me from the stress.
