Virginia Union is a much smaller school compared to others. The professors were tough but also caring. Since we had smaller classes, they were able to take time to get to know us all as students, especially those of us who were selected for the fellowship programs. We became like family. Although they were tough, and we had to study hard to pass their tests, that actually made the process all the more rewarding. We didn't feel threatened because we knew that they cared, and they made it fun for us by challenging us in love, not in indifference.

Compared to other schools, the bond that the faculty, staff and students have at all times.

Its size is small and it gives its students access to different areas of college life. You can be a science student working in the religious studies department. You could be shy but they want you to participate in fashion shows.

Virginia Union is very unique because it is a small campus, in which we have more one on one with are teachers.

The professors on campus are very understanding and caring towards their students . They guide and place young adults on the correct path to success.

This school is made mainly of students who are of African-American decent.

Its extremely small, the class sizes have no more then 30 students in them so its good to have that one on one with the teacher to make sure you arelearning and understanding everything being taught.

I think that the most unique thing aboutmy school is that it is a private university and the class rooms are smaller so that every student isnt just a number. most of the student are close to the teachers and are able to get one on one help if needed that what i enjoy most about my university.

What is unique about my school than other schools is that, it is a smaller in classrooms that makes easier to learn better and the professors know who you are- at a bigger university/college the professors don't know who you are. You are just a number to them.This school is just like a family some days you hate them somedays you love some of the people around you. Plus we have the best athletic teams in the HSBCU area.
