Apathy among students is the most fustrating thing here at Voorhees College. Oftentimes among Voorhees students, education isn't one of the top priorities. Students here choose to party, hang out, skip class, etc. Basically, anything that doesn't involve going to class or furthering their education, then many students typically will follow that path. Despite the fact that Voorhees is an HBCU with many underrepresented students, who otherwise wouldn't have gotten this precious opportunity. It is extremely frustrating to see students wasting their coveted education for tempory periods of fun and games.

From a general point of view,Voorhees is the ideal school for every college bound student.Personally, the frustrating thing about my school is that you cannot move away from the scholarship you were admitted with into a higher one.If one came in on a Dean's Scholarship, though the person makes a 4.0,he/she cannot move into a Presidential. It's frustrating to me because I came in on a Dean's and I really need more financial aid considering my family background.

Being in such a small city is the most frustrating thing about Voorhees College. I come from a big city, so I'm use to being able to jump on a bus or walk down the street to go any place in Atlanta, GA that I chose. In Denmark, SC there are not as many shopping facilities, and we have to travel to other towns to go to certain stores and because I do not own a car, I get frustrated trying to find a ride or having to pay my ride gas money.
