Describe your favorite campus traditions.

Being as I am part of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries, my favorite tradition is "Meet in the Middle." This is were we all gather in the middle of the quad in Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning, ask for prayer requests, and pray over our campus and the students there.

Walters State Community College is best known for its Diversity. Walters State has students of all age rangers, from the young to old. Also, their is a wide variety of ethnicities.

I believe that my school is best know for a quick and efficent education. Getting the degree you want and finding a job is easiest done at Walter State because you can make the process as quick as you want or as slow. Unlike four year colleges, the expense isn't as great and the degree is still just as good! Walter State also has transfer programs for those that decide they really want to go to a four year college. All in all, I believe Walter State Community College is definitly known for it's quick and efficent programs.

Walters State, also known as the Great Smoky Mountain Community College, is best known for serving predominantly rural East Tennessee counties in and around the foot hills of the Great Smokies and Clinch Mountains. There are four principle campuses which are located in Hamblen, Sevier, Greene, and Claiborne County. This school is also known for providing dedication and hard-work to excellence in teaching and through service within the community; and its commitment to helping students attain educational goals
