The worst thing about WPC are the requirements. Being a church based school students are required to commit 10 hours a semester to community service and 15 hours a semester to chapel. being a student ahthlete i have alot of time constraints. but also being involved in work study makes it alot harder to meet these requirements.
Being a commuter student at Warner Pacific I have had a hard time meeting people outside of class because all the group activities are late at night. The public transportation buses don?t run that late and I have no way of getting home after the event.
I like my school and this is going to sound really stupid but the the campas I attend is located in Vancouver and in the bathrooms the faucets spray so hard you get wet.
It is a Christian school and some of the students can be more closed minded than they preech. There isn't a whole lot of faculty, which usually isn't a negative thing, unless you don't like one of the proffessors in your major. You'll see them a lot whether you like it or not.
I would consider the worst thing about Warner Pacific College to be the more liberal, rather than conservative, attitude toward Christianity. This is not to say that I advocate for legalism, but I believe there is a lack of encouragment toward a Biblical lifestyle. One example of liberalism that I don't personally agree with is the allowance and encouragement for women to become pastors through Warner Pacific's degree programs.
Girls dorms can get boring.
