Warner Pacific College Top Questions

What kind of person should not attend this school?

Benjamin

Someone who is seeking a large school with alot of diversity. A non religious person who has no interest in learning more about religion and anyone that wants a large campus experience.

Yvette

Attending the school I am attending, there is not a "type" of person that should attend here. Warner Pacific College is a Christ-Centered Liberal Arts College and there are many students here with different beliefs and every belief, different opinions and thoughts are welcome and opened. Everybody on campus is very open, very loving and friendly here that everybody knows everybody because of how small the campus is. Anybody who would attend would be welcome with open arms.

Lauren

Someone who is not going to make any effort to engage in their community. At Warner, there is a huge emphasis on intentional service to the people around us. Community service is huge and we are constantly being encouraged to reach out and be incredibly intentional about the relationships we create. Someone who just wants to get a degree and get out is going to feel very out of place at Warner, despite our efforts to make everyone feel as welcome as possible.

Jasmine

Someone who is not determined to go to school to further their education. Also someone who doesn't like to work with the public should not waste our time and the professors time.

Emily

Students who are not willing to get dirty and work in the mud with fellow community members or who don?t want to work with the homeless in the Portland area should not attend this school, as there is a community service requirement. Students that are not also willing to attend at least one chapel every week should not attend Warner Pacific because there is also a chapel requirement.

Dean

Some people are just out-of-place. Not they are less of people, but simply that they just don't fit where they are. The question that separates wether this group of out-of-placer's should come or go, is in their court. The question isn't a qualification at this point, but a measurement of opportunity. If they believe they can set aside their own selves for the sake of growing with others, they should come. If they find themselves not willing to be changed from an experience of a lifetime, they might as well not come.

Michael

An individual that should not enter Warner Pacific College is one that has a bad attutude about life. This school is where happiness is a part of success, and friendliness to one another is a norm. You should not come to this college if you have a strong belief in a god that does not exsist or if you are only able to relate with a certain race, because this school is based on good christian faith and the acceptance of all ethnic backgrounds.

Lisa

Any one who attends this school should be open and willing to try new things, to get out of ther box so to speak.

Elise

A person who likes to party. When you sign our school covenant, you have to agree not to drink at all on campus, regardless of whether you are of legal drinking age. If you are looking for a school where you can have a good time, and drink, smoke, do drugs, and have sex, Warner Pacific College is probably not at all a good school for you. Warner Pacific College encourages (and inforces in many cases) Christian values. If you do not value or respect Christian morals, Warner Pacific College is not a good choice for you.

Heather

Someone who doesn't beleive you should worship God on a day to day basis on campus, out in the open. They shoulnd't attened because this is a normal thing to see and do. We are a Christian based college and we love it that way. We do not force our belief on anyone, but we don't want people forcing us to quit being Christians and fighting against the school.
