Warren Wilson College Top Questions

What kind of person should attend this school?

Hannah

Anyone interested in studying sustainable agriculture, environmental education, or etc. This is a very outdoors-oriented college. If you think you're more of a desk jockey, this isn't the school for you.

Claire

Those who want an intentional community, care about more themselves, and are open to new things.

Gia

This school is a great place for people who are ready to move on from the typical atmosphere of college-aged youth of the day. There are no fraternities or sororities here and there's no football team. People who attend WWC should be ready to be a little bit more independent than most college students and to walk the environmentalist walk that WWC students walk. To survive at WWC, students have to be able to multi-task and handle a pretty broad spectrum of "duties", from academics to community service to work to socializing.
