Wayne State College Top Questions

Before coming to Wayne State, I attended Northeast Community College. I knew I wanted my Bachelor degree, so once I graduated from Northeast I chose to attend Wayne State. I didn’t realize the adjustment that came with it. I felt like I was new to everything and plus I didn’t know anyone. I had to start over. I was assigned a roommate and she introduced me to opportunities to meet new people that I wouldn’t have taken if I lived in a single room.

I wish i would have known excatly how much it was going to cost me. Also i would have known how to access certain information that i needed before i got there.

Honestly, there isn't anything I have found out that i wish I knew prior to attending the school. My husband was a student at this college before I started attending here, and therefore, I had a greater supply of information than many other students attending a new school. My husband's sister also graduated from this college, and is now a professor here. Therefore, I was able to learn a lot about the school before deciding to attend.

Before coming to this school, I wish I would have known that the classes are very fast paced. You don't study a chapter long before there is an exam.

Before coming to this school i wish i would've known more about the town. Wayne State College is located in Wayne NE, with a total population around 5,000. Coming from Omaha NE, with a population around 415,000, i will say it was a total shock for me coming to such a small school. I knew that Wayne was a small town but i dont think i realized how small it really was untill i got here.
